Re: Residential Accommodation Under Lease Agreement.

Dear sir,
This refers to the meeting had with Mr. Uday Kumar Karn in connection with the
above on 15th of July, 2018. With all talks positive, I have decided to offer you
for residential accommodation to Mr. Karn lease agreement with following
conditions:
1. The lease agreement between undersigned and National Insurance Co. Ltd. Tripureshorwor,
Kathmandu for lease of ground floor house situated at Teku Ward no-12, Kathmandu.

2. The house should be leased from 17th of July, 2018 for a period of 2 years. The lease period
may be extended/terminated by lessor or the lessee with giving 2 months’ notice to lessor or
lessee whichever is applicable.

3. The rent for the above stated accommodation will be Nrs. 10,000/- per month excluding Tax
(Tax will be paid by National Insurance) in addition to electricity charge as per meter reading of
separate sub-meter lessee.

4. Rent will be increased @10% after every two year.

5. The rent will be paid on quarterly basis (3 month rent in advance) third Week of starting month
from 17th July, 2018.

National Insurance Co. Ltd., Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal

Lease Agreement between Meera Latta Shakya (Lessor), Ward No. 12, Teku, Kathmandu and National
Insurance Co. Ltd. (Lessee), Tripureshwor, Kathmandu for lease of the ground floor of the house
situated at Teku, consisting of following accommodations on the following terms and conditions:

Accommodation: ground floor 1) Bedroom 2 nos.


2) Kitchen 1 no.
3) Bathroom 1 no.

Terms and Conditions:

i. The accommodation would be leased from 17th July 2018 to 16h June 2020 for a period of 2
years. The lease period may be extended with the mutual agreement. However, the lessee or
lessor may terminate the agreement within the lease period by giving two month notice to
lessee or lessor whichever is applicable.
ii. The rent to be paid is Nrs. 10,000/- per month excluding tax( tax will paid by National Insurance)
in addition to electricity charge as per reading of a separate sub – meter by the lessee.
iii. Rent will be increased @10% after every two year.

iv. The rent will be paid on quarterly basis (3 month rent in advance) third Week of starting month
from 17th July, 2018.

Dear Sir,

Re: Lease Accommodation

In reference to the above, I would like to inform you that the landlord has offered me house
rent of Rs.10,000/- excluding house rent tax( tax will be paid by National Insurance) . The said
amount exceeds the eligible lease accommodation limit and due to my poor financial condition,
I am not able to afford the said rent amount. Hence, I would request you to kindly arrange to
provide me an additional 15% in the above limits as per company scheme and oblige.

I hereby agree that I will pay the difference amount between my eligibility & rent amount as
per contract from time to time.

I also request you to pay to landlord as per the contract & deduct the difference amount from
my salary on monthly basis.
