Important Information
1) The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all and to
maintain the transparency in the Admission process. Every year, we have more applicants than
number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a
reflection of his/her calibre.
2) After filling up the online form along with unique number generated by the computer, click on the
submit button and take a print out of the form. Kindly take two coloured print outs of the filled form,
one of which needs to be submitted and the other can serve as a record with self.
3) Any form without unique number will be invalid.
4) You are advised to fill in only one online form. In case of an error while filling the online form, kindly
intimate the admission team through an email at admissionmrd@gmail.com.

No changes shall be entertained after 26 th March, 2018 (Monday).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION

1. Grade/percentage of marks obtained in Class X (Pre-board) under CBSE / ICSE / State Board.
 For Science stream: MINIMUM 81% in both Maths & Science.
 For Commerce stream (With Maths) : MINIMUM 71% in Maths & 61% in SST
 For Commerce stream (Without Maths) : MINIMUM 61% in Maths & 61% in SST.
 For Humanities stream: Humanities with Maths – Minimum Marks 71% in Maths and Humanities without
Maths as per choice.
NOTE:
1. For commerce (without Maths) & Humanities with Informatics Practices, the candidate must have obtained 61%
(B2)&Above grades in Maths and Science respectively.
2. For commerce (without Maths) & Humanities with Economics, the candidate must have obtained 61% (B2) & Above
grades in Maths.

IMPORTANT:
1. Parents are advised to fill only one form with a unique registration number to avoid duplication / cancellation
of the form.
2. Submission of admission form does not guarantee admission. The School Administration reserves the right to offer
admission to meritorious applicants only.
3. The decision of the School authorities will be final and binding.
4. Forms received after the due date will not be considered.

5. Preference will be given to students (Boys / Girls) seeking hostel accommodation.

6. Admission to the hostel will be granted for two academic years i.e. 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 (Classes XI & XII).

7. All Hostellers will have to pay the hostel fee in advance as per the schedule given below.

8. Hostellers will not be allowed to take Private Tuitions / Coaching classes outside the school premises.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WRITTEN EXAM

Date of Class XI Admission test: 9th April, 2018, (MONDAY)

Class XI Admission test will comprise of three parts, which are as follows.

Exam Duration – 9:00 am – 11:15 am.
REPORTING TIME FOR THE APPLICANTS: 7:30 AM.
Venue: DPS Mathura Road, New Delhi. (Entry from Gate no.4)
It is compulsory for the applicants to come in Present school’s uniform carry the following documents.

 A Duplicate registration form (2 copies) submitted with candidate’s photograph.

 A proof of identity.(ID card of the school last attended) or any other valid proof.

 Self Attested Photocopy of Aadhar Card.

 Self attested Mark sheet of class X (PRE BOARD) from the respective school.

 The applicants not satisfying the eligibility will not be allowed to appear for the Written Test OR will be disqualified
even after appearing in the Written Test.

 The candidates must bring a blue/ black ball pen for marking the answers on OMR answer sheet.

Note: Any personal belongings other than those which are mentioned above, such as mobile phone, notebooks, bags
etc. are strictly prohibited in the examination rooms.

 A sample of OMR answer sheet is also being uploaded.

DAY SCHOLAR/BOARDER
Requisites at the time of completion of Provisional Admission Formalities for Class XI

1. Original Mark sheet of Class X Pre- board is to be produced at the time of Admission.

2. (i) Original Character Certificate / Code of Conduct Certificate duly signed by the Principal of the last school
 attended should be submitted at the time of admission formalities only.
(ii) Original Code of Conduct Certificate issued by the Hostel Warden (in case previously residing in a hostel )
should also be submitted at the time of admission formalities only.
(iii) Submit self attested SC/ST/OBC certificate, if any along with photocopy of the Aadhar Card of the candidate.

3. Original certificates of achievements, sports, co-curricular activities, scholarship examination etc., if any.

4. Bonafide certificate in original issued by the school along with CBSE Registration Card/ Admit Card of Class X.

5. Migration certificate in original (issued by the Board other than affiliated to C.B.S.E ).

6. Selected candidates should submit the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the respective area Inspector of the
School (District Education Officer) in original within 15 days of declaration of Board Result (2018-2019). If the
T.C. is not submitted within stipulated time, the admission will stand cancelled automatically and the school in such
cases shall give no notice.

7. A self attested photocopy of the Class X Final Result* Mark sheet will be required to be submitted immediately
after the declaration of the final results. Original Mark sheet will be required for verification.
* Confirmation of Admission is subject to the final result of Class X.

8. For Boarders : Five copies of passport size photographs each of the candidate of Father, Mother, and two copies
each of local guardian.
For Day Scholars: Two Copies of passport size photograph of the candidate along with five copies each of
Father, Mother.

9. Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed proforma, available on the school website duly filled & stamped by the
Doctor (M.B.B.S. / M.D.). Part-I of the medical form has to be completed by the parent. Part-II and Part-III will be
completed by the family doctor of the candidate. Part-IV will be completed by the school (DPS, Mathura Road)
Doctor. This form must be submitted at the time of admission.

In case the candidate is not given the required vaccination for the diseases mentioned in the proforma earlier,
he/she may be registered with the first dose at least before coming for the interview & admission. The same may be
 mentioned in the proforma duly certified by the Doctor (M.B.B.S. / M.D.) or Registered Immunization Centre and the
copy of the same may please be attached.

10. For proof of residence : Any one of the following documents is acceptable –Aadhar Card /Valid Passport / Electoral
Card / Recent Paid Electricity Bill / Recent Paid Landlines MTNL Telephone Bill / Lease Deed duly registered by
registrar.

11.For Boarders
Two local guardians belonging to different families (living in family environment in and around Delhi) should
accompany the parent along with their proof of residence as mentioned in point No. 10 .
 INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING FEE
Fee Structure :
Boarder Day Scholar
1. At the time of admission, boarders have to deposit Rs. 1. At the time of admission, Day Scholars have to bring a pay
4,50,000/- which covers School Fee, Hostel charges, Caution order/Demand draft of Rs. 60,000/- in favour of Delhi Public
Money (i.e. refundable) and deposits on account of Pocket School, Mathura Road, New Delhi as an advance against,
Money and Miscellaneous expenses during the year. Registration charges, admission fee, and tuition fee for 1st quarter
along with other requisites (as mentioned from para 1 to 9).
2. However, parents have option to deposit the fee in two
instalments as mentioned below- 2. In case a student is withdrawn within 30 days from the date of
a) Rs. 2,75,000/- at the time of admission through admission, School will retain the Admission fee, Registration fee
demand draft (of any bank) payable at Delhi/CBS and one month tuition fee & refund the balance.

b) Rs. 1,75,000/- to be paid through post-dated cheque

3. In addition boarders have to also deposit two post-dated

cheques against fee for Class XII.
a) Rs. 2,50,000/- dated 1st April 2019.
b) Rs. 2,00,000/- dated 31st August 2019.
The cheque of any bank payable at par in Delhi will be
accepted. Shortfall / excess if any will be payable / refundable
from / to the Boarders.

4. In case a student is withdrawn within 30 days from the date

of admission, School will retain the Admission fee,
Registration fee, one month Tuition fee & one month Hostel
charges & refund the balance.

5. The student can join the school & boarding house

immediately after completing admission formalities.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

 Candidates, who do not possess any one of the above mentioned requisites, would not be entertained for the
interview & admission formalities. Please ensure that you possess all the requisites before coming.
 Selected candidates must accompany the parent to complete the admission formalities and deposit the fee on
the scheduled day and time mentioned on the school website. Parent accompanying the candidate should
come prepared with the fee and other documents.
