PIPES can be supplied either in any special lengths between 4 and 12 meters or in any special thickness Used Constants
not specified in the chart, provided the quantities required are sufficiently large E=200 GPa
Yield Stress=517 Mpa
GALVANISING
Pipes are throughly cleaned and tehn dipped in a bath of molten zinc, at a temperature suitable to
produce a complete and adherent coating of Zinc.

THREADING
Pipes will be supplied screwed with taper threads in accordance with BS21 (OSO/R7), (11 threads pr inch), and fitted with one screwed socket.
Sockets shall have parallel threads.

MARKING
Pipes will be suplied with 2" wide colour Bands as follows:
Light Pipes (Class A) - Yellow, Medium Pipes (Class B) - Blue Heavy Pipes ( Class ) - Red

QUALITY CONTROL
Because the most crucial point of quality electric resistance-welded (E.R.W) pipes is its welded zone, our
quality control is conducted with special emphasis on this area. Every pipe is subjected to an internal
pressure of 50kgf/cm (700 lbf/in). Frequent physical tests including deformation tests ( Flattering & Flaring)
Tensile tests and dimensional inspections, are carried out to ensure that tubes conform to the
highest international standards.
Galvanised pipes are tested for uniformity & adherence of Zinc coating in accordance
with Appendix A of BS 1387/1967 and KS 06:259
