commissioning of centrifugal pump set with 100 HP motor 2900 RPM for Jagiroad PWSS.
Ref. :- No.EE/PHE/MOR/WS-349/2017-18/ 3642 dtd.05/02/18.Ch to : NRDWP (Quality)
Dear Sir,
In inviting a reference to the above, I am to inform you that the above mentioned work has been allotted
to you as per terms and conditions stated below. Please appear before the undersigned for signing the formal
tender agreement in A.P.W.D. F-2 form within 7(seven) days from the date of issue of this order including
performing all other necessary formalities. Failure on your part to do so, the order will be automatically cancelled.
You are hereby requested to deposit earnest money (2% for general and 1% for ST/SC/OBC) amounting to
Rs.8275.00 (Rupees eight Thousand two hundred Seventy five) only in the form of NSC/KVP/CDR/FDR pledged in
favour of the undersigned. You are requested to start the work in consultation with the Asstt.Executive
Engineer(PHE), Morigaon sub – Division and concerned sectional officer immediately and complete the same
within 15 days from the date of issue of this work order.
Quantity :- 1 (one)
Value of work :- Rs. 413685.00 (Rupees four lakh Thirteen Thousand and six hundred
Eighty five) only(estimated Amount)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1. Specification & Price :- The specification and prices of the pump and motor will be as per
Annexure-‘A’ attached.
2. Taxes :- Taxes will be paid as admissible under rules & will be deducted from the bill.
The VAT (if to be deducted) will be deducted from the bill and paying Authority
will deposit the same directly to the Assam Govt. as per norms.
3. Place of installation :- The pump and motor will be installed at the Jagiroad water supply
scheme.
4. Time of completion :- The installation of pump and motor to be completed within 15

(fifteen) days from the date of issue of this order.
5. Testing :- The testing of pump and motor wil be initially tested by the Asstt. Executive
Engineer (PHE) Morigaon sub Division, Morigaon prior to dispatch of the same
to respective site for final installation and commissioning and you should
depute your qualified representative for the purpose as per programme to be
fixed by him.
6. Installation :- The installation of the pump and motor at site will be done by your authorized
representatives in presence of departmental persons as per program to be fixed
by the concerning Asstt. Executive Engineer (PHE) sub Division and the same will
be intimated to you in time. If you do not send your representatives within
15(fifteen) days from the date of intimation ,then installation will be done in your
absence and at your risk and responsibility. Any defect observed in the pump
and motor after installation/commission will be intimated to you in due course by
the undersigned.
Executive Engineer (PHE)/ Asstt. Executive Engineer (PHE) and you will have to
rectify the defect/defects as pointed out within 15 (fifteen) days failing which cost
of replacement of the pump and motor will be recovered from your outstanding
dues of any or from your security deposit.
7. Payment :- 90% of the value of the order will be paid against receipt of the materials in full
and good conditions and after proper verification as per specification in supply
order initial testing and subject availability of fund through FOC and balance 10%
amount will be retained from your bill and will be kept as security deposit. The
same will be released only after fitting, fixing and satisfactory installation,
commissioning, testing and running of the pump and motor at site unto the
satisfaction of the Engineer in-Charge for a period not less then 3 (three) months.
8. Performance : - The pump and motor ordered is as per your design, selection and
recommendation and it will be your responsibility that the pump and motor fit in
to the Well for which it is ordered and delivered the required quantity of water
against the head mentioned in the Annexure-A .Before delivery you are to
submit such design along with the pump and motor /pump curves to the
Executive Engineer (PHE)Morigaon division /Morigaon Sub Division for
securityand approval in case of any shortfall/defect/mis performance of any kind
found, it will be your responsibility to replace/rectify the same as and when
required at your cost and risk.
9. Guarantee Period :- One year from the date of commissioning and satisfactory testing against any
manufacturing defect, faulty design and bad workmanship. If any such defect is
found during the year from the date of installation and satisfactory testing you
should have to rectify the defects at you own cost and risk and if necessary you
will have to replace the pump and motor.
Failure on your part to comply with any of the above earnest money /security deposited by you will be forfeited to
the State Govt and the Deptt. Will at liberty to cancel this order in part or in full
without entertaining any claim of compensation from you.
This supersedes all your terms and conditions wherever at variance with this order. Please acknowledge receipt of
this supply order and arrange to supply the pump and motor within the stipulated time. Please also intimate
dispatch /delivery position in time.
