PERSONAL STATEMENT

How will CCBPL help fulfill your dreams?

Having completed an ACCA membership and more recently, MBA in Finance majors from IBA, it’s easy to
see that I have a profound interest in numbers. My experience in CDC & Orient Energy Systems, coupled
with a graduate degree in Finance, has vastly increased my knowledge base in this area. Moving
forward, my aim is to contribute in the Financial Shared Services section of a learning-intensive
company. Since FMCGs are known to provide the right dose of rigor and challenge along with an
enabling environment and since Coke is of one of the leaders in the pack, I would be delighted to be
given a chance to work here. Working at Coke will not only harness my current skillset, but will also
broaden it, stretching me in all possible directions.

Coca Cola is a people’s organization which is quite close to it consumers, touching their lives almost
every day. Its marketing efforts reached a new peak with the famous “Is your name on Coke bottle” &
“Share a coke” campaign and we all warmly welcomed this connection with Coca Cola by finding our
names on Coke bottles and sharing these with our loved ones. ‘Share a personalized coke’ project brings
the company and the people closer which is the representation of the Coca Cola’s culture and its value
system which is embedded throughout the global network of Coca Cola’s family. Hence being part of
such an organization, which promotes a culture of sharing and caring will be a privilege.

Being an ACCA member has given me the technical skills and an MBA at IBA has honed my managerial
skills; both highly essential in any organization. During my MBA, I’ve had the privilege of learning in
highly intellectual environments, characterized by a fusion of diverse ideas and philosophies. A blend of
both the qualifications has given me the added advantage of thinking through and analyzing a problem
from various angles and perspectives. In an ever-evolving world, I crave to learn and continually update
my skill set by pushing the boundaries for personal achievements further and further. Equipped with
ambition and a knack for creativity, I have executed some avant-garde projects as a member of team
both in university courses and at the previous job.

Since Coca Cola has acquired the reputation of being a people’s organization; I’m aware of how its K.O
trainee program will provide me with an excellent opportunity to get experiential learning through
rotations in different functions. As an accountant and Business graduate, it’s important for me to learn
how the other functions work and the KO program will help me get a flavor of those functions’
operations and challenges. As mentioned earlier as well, the culture of Coca Cola is to treat its internal
customer i.e employees as an asset and so the company invests in their growth, skills enhancement and
provides them with ample opportunity for career progression. Therefore, if I get the chance to become a
member of the Coca Cola family, it would be a key step towards the ladder of becoming a successful
business manager.

My dream job is to work in Financial Shared services (like as an Analyst or a business partner) of a good
FMCG organization which has the integration of the functions who work in collaboration for overall
growth and success of the company in ambit of its vision and mission. As FMCG’s works in the dynamic
environment where continuous change in environment would be challenging for its employees to deal
with and these fascinate me to think out of the box with holistic view of the situation.

Being an ACCA member, which gives technical skill sets to me and now an MBA at IBA, has honored the
privilege of learning in highly intellectual environments, characterized by a fusion of diverse ideas and
philosophies. Blend of both qualification has given me the added advantage of thinking through and
analyzing a problem from various angles and perspectives. In an ever-evolving world, I crave to learn and
continually update my skill set by pushing the boundaries for personal achievements further and
further. Equipped with ambition and a knack for creativity, I have executed some avant-garde projects
as a member of team both in university courses and at the previous job.

Now, Coca Cola is the people’s driven organization and its K.O trainee program will provide to me an
opportunity to get experiential learning through rotations in different functions in trainee tenure. As an
accountant and Business graduate, it’s important for me to learn how the other functions work, to get
flavor of those function’s operations and challenges. On other hand, the culture of Coca Cola is to treat
its internal customer i.e its employees as an asset and invest in them for their growth, skills
enhancement and provide them a career progression other than its external customer i.e the consumer
as driving force for its success. Therefore, if become a member of Coca Cola family, would be a key step
towards the ladder of successful business manager. I believe my diversified previous experience and
knowledge gained in professional accountancy and Business studies will contribute in the way forward
of organization’s systems and operations.
