Sub: Irregular allotment of transit camps to unauthorized occupants


The Statement of Facts was issued to MHADA & GoM (April 2017).
However, the para was not processed further for want of compliance either from
GoM or MHADA.

Now the compliance is received from MHADA (April 2018), which is placed
at (P/682) for perusal.

Last year the case of Kannamwar Nagar was only included. Now cases of
Goari, Boriwali are also included. The update recovery position is mentioned in the
Para (Annexure I & II).

The para is submitted for approval.

However, it is submitted for orders, whether updated SOF is to be issued this


year as SOF was already issued in previous year (April 2017).

One more case on the same line on above subject, for the property bearing
C.S.No. 605 & 606 of Girgaon Division, amounting to 7.23 crore was noticed during

The Statement of Facts on the captioned subject was issued to MHADA &
GoM (April 2017). However, the para was not processed further for want of
compliance either from GoM or MHADA.

Now the compliance is received from MHADA (April 2018), which is placed
at (P/682) for perusal.

During the year similar case in respect of Gorai, Borivali transit camp was
also noticed. Now the para is submitted by including the details in respect of Gorai.
The outstanding dues in respect of both the transit camps are ₹11.20 crore
(Annexure).

Due to inclusion of fresh details Sr.DAG/Admn directed to issue a fresh SOF.


Accordingly, new SOFs were issued on 24/05/2018. The compliance is awaited.

Considering the similarity in the two cases, we may process the para on the
basis of compliance received for Kannamwar Nagar transit camp.

dues of ₹ 98.80 crore
The Statement of Facts on the captioned subject was issued to MHADA &
GoM (April 2017). However, the para was not processed further for want of
compliance either from GoM or MHADA.

Now the compliance is received from MHADA (April 2018), which is placed
at (P/762) for perusal.

MHADA is charging compound interest on outstanding rent. However, as per


MHADA’s Circular for charging delayed payment, there was no specific provision
for charging compound interest. Hence the revised interest is being calculated as per
MHADA’s circular.

The para with outstanding rent and updated interest calculation is submitted
for approval please.
