The showdown
Guys, this video was fun! I really enjoyed putting together the feature head to head with Todoist vs
TickTick, to accompany this soon, I will be doing a side-by-side battle, as this was more a high
level review of the two experiences.
Todoist and TickTick are probably two of the most similar to-do list experiences and I wanted to
go into more depth on the pros/cons and also who is suited to each app.
TODOIST (Pros/Cons)
PROS:
● Strong advanced functions (labels, filters, templates)
● Well-price option for basic and advanced GTD users
● Flexible layout and design for implementing your workflow
CONS:
● Not a stunning design like Things 3
● Reminders behind paywall (PRO feature)
TICKTICK (Pros/Cons)
PROS:
● Personalised design with themes
● Easy-to-get started layout and structure
● Calendar option (PRO feature)
CONS:
● No GTD-style features
● Layout is fixed, limiting your flexibility
So, should I get Todoist or TickTick?
Let’s share a few ideal experiences that these would suit....
