Environment is everything surrounding us.

Environmental Pollution has become the most serious

issue in our daily life. Various types of pollutants from the industrial garbage and other activities
are affecting our natural resources like air, water, soil, etc. after being mixing into the soil, air and
water. Not only these, other human activities like destroying forests too affects on environmental
pollution.

The rate of pollution in the cities is higher than the villages because of the vehicles transportation.
Smokes arise from the running vehicles, factories and other industries are affecting the clean air
of cities which is not fit for the breathing. Soiled water from the big sewage system, other garbage
from the households, by-products from the factories and industries are directly mixing to the rivers,
lake and oceans. Most of the solid wastes, garbage and other unused things are thrown away by
the people on the land which cause soil pollution and affect the crop production. Most of the people
in the cities spread noise pollution to a great extent during their birthday, marriage or other
occasions just for their short time happiness. All the roads in the cities become full of traffic all
through the day because of the increasing number of vehicles which are the reason of both air
pollution and noise pollution.

Man’s technological development is the big reason of all types of pollution on the earth. So, no
one other than human, who is digging a pit of pollution worldwide and creating a serious problem
for the living things on the earth. The quality of life is worsening day by day as environmental
pollution causes various health problems like high blood pressure, kidney disorders, respiratory
disease, cancer, epidemics, skin diseases, etc. So it is our duty to protect environment at any cost.

පරිසරය අප වටා සෑම දෙයක්ම. පාරිසරික දූෂණය අපදේ දෙනික ජීවිතදේ බරපතලම කාරණය වී ඇත. කාර්මික කසළ සහ
දවනත් ක්රියාකාරකම්වලින් පරිසර දූෂණයන් විවිධ වර්මගවල පාාංශු, වාතය සහ ජලය ිශ්ර කිරීදමන් පසු අදේ ස්වාභාවික
සම්පත් වලට වාතය, ජලය, පස ආදී වශදයන් බලපානවා. දම්වා පමණක් දනාව, වනාන්තර විනාශ කිරීම වැනි දවනත්
මානව ක්රියාකාරකම් ෙ පරිසර දූෂණය දකදරහි බලපායි.
වාහන ගමනාගමනය නිසා නගරවල දූෂණය අනුපාතය ගම්මානවලට වඩා වැඩි ය. රිය පෙවන වාහන, කර්මමාන්තශාලා සහ
අදනකුත් කර්මමාන්තවලින් දුම් පැිදණන්දන් ශ්වසනය සඳහා සුදුසු දනාවන නගරවල පිරිසිදු වාතය දවතය. විශාල අපද්රව්ය
පද්ධතිදයන් අපිරිසිදු ජලය, ගෘහාශ්රිතව ඇති දවනත් අපද්රව්ය, කර්මමාන්තශාලා සහ කර්මමාන්ත වලින් අතුරු නිෂ්පාෙන,
සෘජුව ම ගාංඟා, විල හා සාගර වලට ිශ්ර දව්. ඝන අපද්රව්ය, කසළ හා දවනත් භාවිතයට දනාගත් දද් දබාදහෝමයක්
පාාංශු දූෂණය හා භූිය ආශ්රිතව වගා කරන ඉඩම් වල ජනතාව විසින් විසුරුවා හරිනු ලැදේ. නගරවාසීන්දගන් දබාදහෝ
දෙදනක් තම උපන්ිනය, විවාහය දහෝ දවනත් අවස්ථාවන්හිදී ඔවුන්දේ දකටි කාලය ේරීතිය සඳහා හිරු රශ්ිදයන් විශාල
වශදයන් පැතිර ගිදේය. වායු දූෂණය සහ ශේෙ දූෂණය යන දෙකම දහ්තු වන වාහන සාංඛ්යාව වැඩිවීම නිසා නගරදේ සෑම
මාර්මගයකම ිනපතාම වාහන ගමනාගමනය පිරී පවතී.
ිනිසාදේ තාක්ෂණික ියුණුව පෘථිවිදේ සියලු වර්මගවල දූෂණයට ේරධාන දහ්තුව දව්. දලාව පුරා පරිසර දූෂණය වළක්වා
දපාදළාදව් ඇති ජීවීන් සඳහා බරපතල ගැටළුවක් ඇති කරින් ිනිසුන්ට හැර දවන කිසිදවක් නැත. අධික දලස රුධිර
පීඩනය, වකුගඩු ආබාධ, ශ්වසන දරෝග, පිළිකා, වසාංගත දරෝග, සදම් දරෝග වැනි පාරිසරික දූෂණදයන් විවිධ
දසෞඛ්ය ගැටලු හටගනිින් ජීවිතදේ ගුණාත්මකභාවය ිදනන් ින නරක අතට හැදරින් තිදේ. එබැවින් පරිසරය ආරක්ෂා
කිරීම අදේ යුතුකමක්.

My name is Vidura Wijesekara.I was born on the 26th of november in 1998, so that i am 20 years
old now.I live in horana.there are 4 members in my family.i got an elder brother.he currently works
as an engineer.my father is retired and so do my mother.i prefer to watch movies in my leisure
time.not only that reading books,playing video games are too my hobbies.i got my primary
education from Ashoka Colllege horana. then after passsing the scholarship exam i went to nalanda
college colombo 10 at where i studied upto A levels.i did my studies in science stream.i love to do
air rifle shooting as a sport.
