Midnight

Midnight comes, it's dark and dreary

thoughts of day come back so clearly.
Hateful words, audacious lies
endless rumors, ones despised.
Loveless couple, changing routes
new suspicions, endless doubts.
Once was loved, once was adored
things have changed, not anymore.
Special problems now must face
bad memories hard to erase.
It's hard even to hear those tales
and in my heart a tear finally fell.
