Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new year at East Cobb Middle School! I am excited to have

your child in my Social Studies class and cannot wait to be a part of their
success. I can only hope that you and your child share the same enthusiasm with
learning. I have high standards and expectations of my class. I encourage you to
have the same with your child. Your child will succeed if they have the
encouragement from both sides.
I am a seasoned teacher with over twenty years of experience. I attained a
master’s degree in Elementary Education and a specialist degree in Leadership
and Administration. My wife and I have a thirteen year old daughter and an nine
year old son where we reside in Marietta. I have been living in Georgia since
1998.
Our daily schedule is posted on my blog for your own reference. Please
make sure to check it throughout the week to review homework assignments,
syllabus, and other important information that may be helpful. I will be your child’s
homeroom and Social Studies teacher, so please make sure to contact me with
any questions or concerns. Students should arrive on time and should be
prepared for class (Class starts at 9:15). Homework will be assigned almost
every day or other assignments/projects will have due dates posted. I will be
assigning projects throughout each quarter that ties into the curriculum that we
are learning. Please review your child’s agenda daily and check on their
progress.
It is very important for home and school to work together to provide the
best education for our students. Please feel free to call me or email me if you
have any questions or concerns. I encourage all of us to keep the lines of
communication open. I will inform you often on how your child is doing in school.
I am always excited to share the student’s progress and accomplishments.

¡Bienvenidos a un año nuevo en East Cobb Middle School! Estoy

contento de tener a su niño en mi clase y no puedo esperar a ser parte de su
éxito escolar. Sólo puedo esperar que usted y su niño compartan el mismo
entusiasmo con el aprendizaje. Tengo estándares altos y expectativas en mi
clase y le animo a hacer el mismo. Su niño tendrá éxito si ellos tienen el estímulo
de ambos lados.
Soy un maestro con viente anos de experencia. Tengo un grado de
maestria en Educacion Elemental y un grado especial en Liderazgo y
Administracion Escolar. Mi esposa y yo tenemos una hermosa hija de doce anos
y hijo de ocho anos donde viven en Marietta.
Nuestra plane por el dia esta en el blog. Cada día los estudiantes
deberían llegar a tiempo y deberían ser la preparado para la clase (la Clase
comienza en 9:15). Yo doy tarea todo dia o projecto cada semana. Por favor
examine la agenda de tu nino cada dia.
Es muy importante para casa y escuela para trabajar juntos para
proporcionar la mejor educación para nuestros estudiantes. Por favor siéntase
libre de llamarme si usted tiene alguna pregunta o preocupaciones. Animo estos
tipos de llamadas y tengo ganas de tener noticias de usted. Me comunicaré con
usted a menudo para estar relacionado como su niño hace en la escuela. Estoy
