How to use this material
This material was created to help you improve your English while you enjoy watching your
favorite series. This way, you don’t have to stop each episode so many times to make sure you
understood everything or to take notes of all the new vocabulary. Here you will already find
the most important and usefull expressions and vocabulary found in the episode.

The vocabulary entries will have first an explanation of its meaning in English followed by the
sentence where it appeared in Prison Break. In case you are still not sure of the meaning, you
have the translation to Portuguese. We are preparing the material with the translation to
other languages as well. If you would like us to translate it into another language, please let us
know!

There are, of course, many ways you can use this. Here are 3 ideas:

 Read and learn the new words and expressions before watching the episode. This
might be a good idea if your English is not so good yet as it will reduce the number of
doubts. A few days after watching it you can play with the flashcards to revise the new
content or create your own flashcards on Anki. This process could take a whole week.
For example: Days 1 and 2- read the new vocabulary; Day 3- learn the new vocabulary;
Day 4– watch the episode with English subtitles; Day 5 – day off; Days 6 and 7- revise
the vocabulary and play or create flashcards, try to use the new vocab.
 Watch the episode and have a look at the new vocabulary afterwards. This might be
a good idea for people who already have a very good level of English and that will
maybe only have a few doubts while watching the episode. If that is your case, you
might find it more helpful to create your own flashcards only with the vocabuary you
want to learn and master instead of using the flashcards we created.
 Use the material as you watch. Some people are comfortable stopping and
understanding everything as they go. If that is your case, go for it! If you are one of
those people who need to understand every single thing before you go on, just keep
this book with you as you watch and in case you don’t understand something, have a
look to see if you cand find it here. Watching one episode might take a lot longer that
way, but it works well for many people. We advise you to watch the episode at least a
second time after going through the process, without stopping.

All definitions found in this material are only related to the meaning used or found in the
series, not all possible meanings for a word or verb. Be advised that some of the words and
verbs present in this material will have many more meanings.

The vocabulary is presented in the same order it appears in the series, not alphabetically.

Did you forget to download the audio or would like to know how you can get the vocabulary
for all the episodes? Then just check this link: HERE

 Use o material enquanto assiste. Algumas pessoas ficam mais confortáveis ou mesmo
sentem a necessidade de irem parando cada pouco para entender bem o que está
acontecendo. Se este é o seu caso, vá em frente! Se você é dessas pessoas que
precisam entender cada detalhe ou palavra antes de seguir, mantenha essa apostila
com você enquanto assiste e caso não entenda ou conheça algo, dê uma olhada se
você encontra a informação aqui.

Ficou interessado(a)? Basta registrar-se gratuitamente no nosso site e sair praticando!
