The operator is responsible for following the warnings and {instructions in both manuals and on the tool. Read both Operator’s Manuals entirely before assembling the attach- ‘ment and using the tool! Restrict the use ofthis tool to persons who read, understand and follow the warnings and Instructions in both manuals and on the tool. OPERATOR SAFETY 1. Always wear a safety face shleld or goggles to pre- vent rocks or debris from being blown oF Into eyes and face which can result in blindness or serious injury. See “Accessories.” 2. Always wear long pants, shoes and gloves. Do not ‘wear loose clothing, jewelry, short pans, sandals or go barefoot. For the gasoline model, donot wear rubber or any other insulated gloves to avoid staticelectricity shock. For the electric model, use of rubber gloves is recommended. 3. Do not operate this tool when you are tired, il or under the influence of akcohol, drugsor medication, TOOL SAFETY 1. Inspect the entire tool before each use. Replace damaged pars. Make surealfastenersareinplaceand securely fastened. See “Assembly.” 2. Always see your WEED EATER® dealer toreplace Impeller. Parts that are chipped, cracked or ‘damaged in any way can fly apart and cause serious injury. Replace damaged parts before using the tool. 3. Donotuse unless the vacuum inlet cover is closed or vacuum tube is attached. 4, Makesurethe vacuum tubesare property installed and securely fastened, Refer to “Assembl 5. Inspect the area before starting the tool. As a ‘acum, thetoolisdesigned to pick up dry material such as leaves, grass, small twigs and bits of paper. Use only genuine WEED EATER? replacement parts as recommended by the manufacturer. OPERATION SAFETY 1, Keepothersincluding children, animals, bystanders and helpers a minimum of 30 feet away. Stop the engine or motor immediately if you are approached. 2. Never place any object in the air intake opening as this could restrict proper airflow and cause damage to the tool. 6. Never run the engine or motor without the proper ‘equipment attached. When used asa vacuum, always install the suction tube and collection bag assembly. Make sure the collection bag assembly is completely Zipped when the engine or motor isrunning to svi fy- ing debris 7. Alwaysuse the shoulder strap attached tothe collec- ton bag when vacuuming to avoid loss of control 8, Never use for spreading or misting chemicals, fer- tilizers or toxic substances. 9. Avold situations that could catch the collection bbag on fire. Do not operate near an open flame. Do ‘ot vacuum ash from fireplaces, barbecue pits, brush piles etc. Donot vacuum discarded cigars or cigarettes. 10. Use only for jobs explained in this manual.
