About us

Sucral started its activities in 1968, when the partners, envisioning the future development
of the sugar and alcohol business in Brazil, decided to join forces to develop projects in this
field.
The first years of activities were intensive, and very soon the company was being recognized
as a market leader, not only in Brazil, but also overseas.

In the 70's, with the advent of Proálcool (Alcohol National Program), Sucral experienced
huge growth, contributing with dozens of projects of new distilleries all over Brazil.

So far, Sucral has developed, implemented, expanded and modernized several sugar plants, including some
quality and efficiency, like Santa Adélia Mill in Jaboticabal (SP-Brazil) and Equipav Mill in Promissão (SP-Brazil)

Foreseeing the growth on energy generation or cogeneration business from the sugar cane bagasse, Sucral has
including this subject as well as the economic and financial analysis for feasibility of projects.

In all these years, Sucral has become an important name in the sugar and alcohol market, in Brazil and abroad

The "Jornal Cana" Award is an example of it. Sucral has won the title of Best Consultant and Industrial Supp
three years in a row.

Generation and co-generation of electric power from the Biomass

Sucral presents all its expertise in making feasible projects of electric power generation or co-generation,
from the sugar cane bagasse.

We develop technical-economic feasibility studies in order to build thermo electrical plants through SPC
(Special Purpose Company) or projects of cogeneration, optimizing the existing equipment in the industry.

In the job schedule we offer attractive and diversified financing lines and deep knowledge of the new
legislations and regulations of the electric sector, associated with a solid experience of the technical
realities of the Plants.

So we can present our customers complete projects, from their very beginning until their turn-key.

As a first step, we offer a technical and economic feasibility stud

generation or co-generation, the Internal Rate of Return and the Pay
results with diverse energy rates.

Technological Innovation
Devido à contínua expansão do setor
