The background which is encourage this research is the low level of learning

motivation of students with less effective of using appropriate methods and

models of instruction. It is due to lack of use of the methods and models that
are able to improve the learning motivation of students. The goal in this
research is to know the learning motivation in SD Negeri Salaman 3 and to find
out the effectiveness of the reward method in the model of quantum learning
towards the learning motivation of students in third grade of SD Negeri
Salaman 3 Magelang. The methods that used in this research is reward
method. The research design is using the Pre Experimental Design with type
One Group Pretest Posttest Design. To find out the results of a pretest and
posttest is using questions sheet of learning motivation. Based on analysis of
the result of question sheet, the learning motivation shows that pretest and
posttest data shows increasing percentage of learning motivation, pretest is
83.8% whereas posttest is 90,2%. It means that the reward method in quantum
learning model is effective toward students’ learning motivation in third grade
of SD Negeri Salaman 3 Magelang. By the pretest average is 117.4 and
posttest average is 126.4.
