Terms & Conditions (T&C):-
1. Cost of Tender Form is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred) only for each vehicle, payable in any branch of the State Bank of Sikkim, obtaining Bank Receipt (B/R) under the
Revenue Head- “1055 - Road Transport, 201 - SNT, 04 - Other Misce.”, Govt. of Sikkim.
2. Tender Forms can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Engineer (Mech.), Central Traffic Workshop, SNT, Gangtok, during working hours.
3. The interested bidder(s) shall deposit “Earnest Money” in the form of Temporary Deposit Receipt (TDR) the amount as indicated in column- 6 of the above table for each
vehicle, to be drawn from any branch of the State Bank of Sikkim, in favour of the Dy.G.M.(Mech), SNT Division, Transport Department, Govt. of Sikkim.
4. The Tender Form(s) with quoted offer(s) must be placed in a sealed cover/envelope and duly accompanied by the relevant TDR(s) of the Earnest Money(s) should reach the

office of the undersigned and deposited in a sealed Tender Box before or on 18 September, 2015, by 4:00 pm.

5. The tender(s) shall be opened on 19 September, at 11:30 am in the presence of the tenderers and or their representatives by the “Tender Opening Committee” formed
by the Government for the purpose. Incomplete/conditional Tender(s) as well as Tender(s) without the TDR(s) shall be rejected.
6. Ambiguous offer quoted by the bidder in his/her Tender Form(s) is also liable to be rejected by the Tender Opening Committee. So, the offer(s) quoted for each vehicle in
each Tender Form should be correctly written down both in numerical figures and in words. Over-writing or making corrections should be avoided and in case if any error
occurs it should be authenticated forthwith by the bidder(s) before sealing his/her Tender Form(s). The final offered quoted rate of any and or all of the bidder(s) will be
decided in terms of written down words in case confusion arise between the numerical figures and the words in the Tender Form.

7. The 1 highest successful bidder(s) who will be issued the respective “Allotment Orders” shall have to lift/remove the abovementioned Govt. vehicle(s) after full payment
within 15 (fifteen) days at his/her own risk and own cost, failing which his/her TDR(s) towards Earnest Money(s) deposited shall be forfeited abruptly without any prior
notice. Thereafter if necessary, allotment to the next in-line highest bidder(s) will be decided by the Government based on the merit of the case whereupon the non-

committal / evasive 1 highest bidder(s) shall have no any rights of claim.
8. 4.5 % Sales Tax/VAT extra as applicable shall be charged to all the vehicle allotte.
9. The Earnest Money(s) Deposited TDRs of the unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be refunded soon after the auction.

10. The vehicles can be physically inspected during the working days from 11 am to 3 pm with the permission of the Dy. G.M.(Mech), SNT, Gangtok.
11. The Transport Deptt. / “Tender Opening Committee” reserves the right to accept or reject - any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
