1. Ensure neutral earthing resistor is installed as drawings.

2. Disconnect earth cable at Earth connection.

3. Check insulation resistance of resistor. ________ M.Ohms

4. For reactive type earthing resistors check insulation resistance of resistor

secondary winding to earth with outgoing connections shorted together

5. Reconnect earth connection.

6. Check and record resistance from star point connection to Earth._______ Ohms

7. For reactive type earthing resistors, check and record resistance of secondary
shorting resistance using a low voltage instrument _______ Ohms

8. Measure and record current flow in earth conductor under no-load conditions.
