I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. Define Deviance, Conformity and Social Control.
2. Explain the importance of norms, values and status in a society.
3. Explain how an individual become a good member of a society.

IV. Procedures:
a) Greetings.
b) Classroom cleanliness
c) Checking of Attendance
d) Lesson Preview: Ask someone from the learners to preview the last lesson.
e) Motivation: Being a member of Comillas Community, what are your contributions to
the community? (The teacher should expect different answers from the learners).

f) Lesson Proper: The teacher discusses the following topic with the integration of
student’s idea, knowledge and perception.

VI. Evaluation: Let the learners answer the questions:

1. Define Biological Evolution.


2. Explain the human biological capacity for culture.

VII. Assignment: Read in advance the Cultural Evolution for our next discussion.
