These rules are formulated to promote the level of improvement in SUFE’s quality of education
for international students, referenced from Pilot Scheme of Shanghai Government Scholarships
SGS award for newly enrolled students are divided into two categories, namely, class A and class B.
Class A scholarship provides monetary aid for academically excellent international students
for graduate programs in SUFE. In reference to the current standards of Full Scholarships of

Class B scholarship provides monetary aid for academically excellent international students for

3. After materials audit, postgraduate and doctoral program applicants should come to SUFE for
interview and will be qualified for scholarship review only after being accepted as degree
student of the next academic year. Interviews are normally set around the end of May to the
beginning of July. Students will be directly informed of exact time and place of interviews by

Applicants of both Class A and Class B scholarship should hand in or post application materials to
the Admission Office of International Culture Exchange School (ICES) of Shanghai University of
Finance and Economics (SUFE) by May, 20th each year. The review committee of Shanghai
Government Scholarship for International Students will review after the deadline of application,
discuss and propose the final list of recipients. The list of recipients will be announced on the

for undergraduate students, 2 years for postgraduate students and 3 or 4 years for doctoral
