Senior Mathematics Teacher


Kells Academy is seeking an innovative Mathematics teacher with a passion for supporting young adolescents. We
are searching for a candidate who is enthusiastic to instruct Senior Mathematics (CST & SN) with a knowledge of
how to develop a differentiated practice in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of
individual learning differences and a belief that with appropriate instruction all students can be successful.
Candidates must include a copy of their valid Quebec Teaching Permit.

Teaching Responsibilities:
● Understand and apply the curriculum objectives, protocols and culture of Kells Academy
● Prepare, coordinate and instruct Mathematics lessons in line with MEES
● Incorporate technology in the classroom
● Support objectives and maintain standards set by the Mathematics Department
● Communicate regularly with administration, parents and students regarding student progress

Qualifications

● Undergraduate degree in education or a relevant field of study


● Quebec Teaching Permit
● Be up to date on the most recent advances in technology in the classroom

Junior Mathematics & Science Teacher


Kells Academy is seeking an innovative Mathematics and Science teacher with a passion for supporting young
adolescents. We are searching for a candidate who is enthusiastic to shape the path of 7th and 8th grade students
towards achieving their higher education goals.

The candidate will instruct both Junior Math and Science with a knowledge of how to develop a differentiated
practice in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of individual learning differences and a
belief that with appropriate instruction all students can be successful. ​Candidates must include a copy of their
valid Quebec Teaching Permit.

adolescents. We are searching for a candidate who is enthusiastic to instruct French Second Language with a
knowledge of how to develop a differentiated practice in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have an
understanding of individual learning differences and a belief that with appropriate instruction all students can be
successful. ​Candidates must include a copy of their valid Quebec Teaching Permit.

Responsabilités spécifiques comprennent:


● Promouvoir et appliquer les objectifs, les politiques et les règlements de Kells en matière d'éducation;
● Planifier, coordonner et préparer des cours selon les programmes autorisés par le MEES pour l'éducation
au secondaire et le projet éducatif de l'école;
