Dear Dr. Romero,

Greetings!

We are writing this letter in relation to the discrepancy in the grade that our son, Leonard Jose
Serapio, received in his Research class (11ABM-3).

It has come to our attention that Mr. Roland Macawili failed to record one of the outputs of our
son which resulted to the grade he received for the first quarter. Upon knowing this, our son
immediately and on multiple times, approached the concerned professor regarding such mistake.
The professor gave repeated assurances both inside the classroom and via Facebook that he will
incorporate the changes once he input the final grade.

Attached herewith is a screencap of the Facebook exchange between our son and the concerned
professor. The fact that said professor ignored the subsequent messages and clarificatory
messages despite such assurance is utterly disappointing and caused great distress not just to
our son but also to other students who suffered the same fate.

What we want is clarification regarding the said matter. Why did the concerned professor refused
to honor his word of incorporating the changes during the encoding of final grades? Has there
been any changes or mistake that warranted such decision?

Finally, we are hoping for your favorable and immediate action on the said matter. As parents,
we witnessed how hard our son has been working to attain and meet what is required of him. All
we want is for him to get the grade that he deserved.
