11. September 2: North London Church 30th Anniversary
Celebration & Church Rededication: The London
church will be closed for us to join the North London
church as they rededicate their church and recollect on
the past 30 years. You don’t want to miss this
celebration!
12. September 4th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, October 1st
and 4th: Next “Depression the Way Out” program will
be at the North London SDA Church, 800 Fleet Street at
Oxford Street 7:00-9:00 p.m. For the last test results we
will have a supper and get together on October
11th. Cost for program is $175.00 per/person and for two

17. November 17: We were created to celebrate: 120 years
ago (July 1898), the first Seventh-day Adventist Church
was organized in London. The Church in London was
birthed amidst disappointments, hostility and
perseverance. The first Adventists included Peter
Gibson of London who is believed to be buried in the
Glanworth Cemetery, Mr. and Mrs. Corcoran and a Mrs.
Estacy Young of Delaware. On November 17, let us
 celebrate our Adventist Heritage, our place in history, and
our cultural diversity as together we endeavor to be a part
in growing God's Kingdom on earth.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Crowd all the good works you possibly can into this life. Jesus August 18, 2018
would have all who profess His name become earnest
workers. It is necessary that every individual member build
upon the rock Christ Jesus. A storm is arising that will wrench
and test the spiritual foundation of everyone to the utmost.
Therefore avoid the sandbed; hunt for the rock. Dig deep; lay
your foundation sure. Build, oh, build for eternity! Build with
tears, with heartfelt prayers. Let every one of you, from
henceforth, make your life beautiful by good works. Calebs are
the men most needed in these last days.
