Classic massage consists of manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective
tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, speed up healing process, decrease muscle
reflex activity and promote relaxation and well being.
Foot massage stimulates reflex points that correspond to other parts of the body which are
invervated by the nerve of the same spinal segment. The overall goal is to releave the stiffness of the
soft tissues of the feet, improve blood and lymph circulation, and to stimulate and improve the
funcion of the internal organs. Foot massage applies pressure using the thumb, finger and hand
techniques.
Head massage is applied to face, hairy part of the head, neck and shoulders. It releases muscle
tension, promotes transport of the blood to the hair folicules and lowers symptoms connected to
stress such as headache, feeling of „heavy eyes“ or mental fatigue.
Soft tissue technique is a manual therapy directed towards muscles and fascia throughout the body.
It involves stretching and relaxing dysfunctional soft tissue structures, without use of massage oil,
directed mainly to paraspinal musculature that surround each vertebra of the spine. The goal of soft
tissue techniques is to relax hypertonic muscles and stretch tight fascial structures.
