NOTICE

All candidates appeared in written test of HC/CM-2015 recruitment on 26/11/2017 are

hereby informed that ‘Answer Key’ of question paper of all series was uploaded on ITBP
recruitment website and candidates were given a window i.e. upto 05/12/2017 (1600 Hrs) to submit
their representations in this matter, if any.

2. The representations received within the time period were examined and clarified as given
below:-

i) Answer given in the earlier Answer Key uploaded on 30/11/2017 in respect of the
question No. 30 in series ‘A’, Sl. No. 5 in series ‘B’, Sl. No. 15 in series ‘C’ and
Sl. No. 10 in series ‘D’ is incorrect. Correct answer is option ‘B’. The question is
reproduced below for ready reference:-
“Which word does not belong with the others?”
A. Inch B. Ounce (Correct answer)
C. Centimeter D. Yard
ii) Lots of representations were received for the question No. 65 in series ‘A’, Sl. No.
80 in series ‘B’, Sl. No. 60 in series ‘C’ and Sl. No. 75 in series ‘D’ also which is
reproduced below for ready reference:-
“The one factor that governs the progress of a nation is education.”
A. Single factor B. Primary Factor
C. One of the factor D. No improvement (Correct answer)
In the Answer Key option ‘D’ is as the correct answer of above question.
The candidates were asked to improve the sentence by replacing the underlined part
from given options. In above question the statement “The one factor that governs
the progress of a nation is education” is grammatically correct and hence no
correction is required in this context. So correct answer is Option ‘D’ “No
improvement”
3. Accordingly, revised Answer Key is hereby uploaded on ITBP recruitment website.
