DenimFit by Jeans is in a retail fashion
industry who sells fitted jeans which has
an objective of branding and marketing of
their collection of products, the
processing and sales of jeans and jackets
and distribution and selling of DenimFit
skateboards through retail market and
distribution lines.
Fashion is simply defined as style of
clothes worn by the group of people.

Cloud Computing is a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process data rather than a
local server or personal computer.

Types of Cloud Systems

● Software as service (SAAS: Software applications to process data (consume it)

This service is managed directly by vendors “high”
● Platform as service(PAAS): app development/web/streaming (Build on it)
Vendor manages majority of services however they do not manage applications data, allows you to control
development of your application “High/low”
● Infrastructure as a service(IAAS): Networking/security/system management to run process data (Migrate to it)
Vendor manages some services, and gives you reasonable control over infrastructure, can download and install
your own applications “medium/medium”
● Public cloud: available to public/large industry groups and is owned by an organisation cloud service, infrastructure is
owned and managed by third party providers and located off-premise
● Private cloud: operated for an individual organisation; can be managed by organisation or third party, both on/off
premises and is trusted.
● Hybrid cloud: mixture of two or more clouds; bound together by technology

· Manageability (easily accessible and updated automatically periodically)

Issues
· When introducing a new system to an organisation it may lead to unsatisfied staff especially if
many are not trained on how to use the system. This can sometimes lead to staff turnover. The
ways that this can be stopped is through training staff before systems are implemented into the
business.
· Downtime (due to significant users, servers can sometimes crash leaving many in a headache)
· Security (important information is stored and can sometimes be accessed by unwanted users)
· Data mobility (is not always easy to transfer data to another software)
· Digital waste (non appropriate use of cloud, e.g. max uploading of photos video for storage)

Trends -
Currently training and retraining are becoming the biggest challenges for
companies and large enterprises and other vendors. Pressure has been put
on them to keep up to date and constantly create new produces and
releases. If companies are able to have high trained programs and the
ability to assess and monitor skills within their company, this will enable
them to have a more competitive advantage.

Examples -
Software-as-a-service (Saas): usually refers to applications sent to the end
user through a web browser etc. An example of this is through DropBox.
Cloud storage: Applications such as Google docs allows for storage to be
obtained over the internet and be accessed from any location at anytime.

an item from wherever they are located in regard to the service provided by the cloud.

Speed plays a very significant role in e-commerce in order to keep customers for DenimFit on site and keep them
glued to the website. According to Akamai “40% of customers abandon a web page if it takes more than three
seconds to load” showing the important role speed plays on not only keeping customers satisfied but also increasing
