inspection using Catia V5. And also done basic stress analysis of tooling.
Tool design review for enhancements for best cast part quality and castability with regards to core
ejector pin locations, gas pass ventilation flow, cavitation arrangements etc.
Machining Fixture Selections of best coatings available for core to enhance the casting process/minimize
casting problems.

GD&T dimensioning and tolerance recommendations of the part design.

Tool procurement specifications -CMM dimensional verification of the tool upon build
completion. Tool adjustment procedures.

Engineering changes -Procedures and practices.

Outsourced tooling requirements prior to /upon shipping.

Participate in design (preliminary and approval) of casting trim tools. Responsible for maintenance of all
casting and trim tooling’s.

Design and order other tooling and fixtures for use throughout the plant. Manage
tooling’s repair in-house.

Determine requirements & modifications necessary to fit existing tooling (cast & trim
tools), from other vendors, to our machines.

Using principles of engineering, mechanical experience, diagnose tooling operational


issues and determine method of repair.
