Classroom Policies Test Correction Policy
Chromebooks
Mrs. Hume Upon return of a test, students not scoring a 100% will be
able to complete test corrections.
Your student is expected to follow
HCS procedure and policy when - Each corrected question is worth ½ of the original

Your student will be creating an account on the


website Quia.com. They will have a personal
log-in and password. Quia is accessible from
school and home. Mutilple assessments and
Google Classroom classwork will be administered through the Quia
Your account. The test format will mimic the end of
Class Notes, Homework Checks, and some the year SOL test for 8th grade students. Your
classwork assignments will be posted on student’s account will store all assessment
Google Classroom. Check with your student results for later viewing. The Quia site also
on how to use this site. contains practice quizzes and games for each
SOL. Please encourage your student to log on
Homework Checks and review.

A unique homework assignment that I often


use is a homework check. A homework check
is a 5-10-question assignment on Quia that
will evaluate student learning. Students will be
assigned to study the notes from class and
complete the check upon the next class
meeting for a homework grade.
