Transfer PLC Project to Conveyor Panel PC

1. Establishing connection Notebook -> Conveyor

 Connecting the Network via Network Cable
 Power up the Tracking Conveyor
 Connect a bluetooth / USB keyboard tot he Tracking Conveyor Panel PC

2. Set the correct IP Adress at your Notebook

 Open Networkconnections
 Go to modify Network Adapter Settings
 Choose Properties
 Choose Internetprotokoll Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
 Choose properties for IPv4
 Set IP Adress: 172.20.1.18
Set Subnetzmask: 255.255.248.0
 Confirm with “OK“

3. Set correct IP Adress at Tracking Conveyor Panel PC

 Start
 Control Panel
 Network and Dial-up Connections
 Rightclick to FEC1
 Properties
 Specify an IP Adress
 Set IP Adress: 172.20.1.20
Set Subnetzmask: 255.255.248.0
 Cinfirm with “OK“
 Reboot Panel PC (Power off the Tracking Conveyor at least for 10 sec.)

4. Checking if Tracking Conveyor Panel PC is reachable from Notebook

 Open „CMD“ Box
 Enter: ping 172.20.1.20 and execute with “Enter“

5. Start “Twin CAT 2 System Manager“
 Click (Rightclick) at notification Aerea to the “Twin CAT 2“ Symbol
 Start “System Manager“

6. Open the Project in the “System Manager“

 Choose “Open File“
 Choose the actual „.tsm“ file

7. Establish connection to Remote PLC
 Click “Choose Target“

 Markup “Local“ and push “Search (Ethernet)…“

  Confirm with “OK“

 Push “Broadcast Search“

 The shown up „Target“ in the list should be marked, the push “Add Route“. Memorize the “Host
Name“ for further settings in the “PLC Control“ software.

INFO: should no Target be shown up, follow the next step, otherwise proceed with page 6

 1. Choose “IP Address“
Go to “Enter Host Name / IP:“ enter the IP Adress “172.20.1.20“ and confirm with “Enter“
Mark the shown up Target
Push “Add Route“

 Close the “Add Route Dialog“ Window by pushing the “Close“ button

 Choose the correct Target with the correct “Host Name“ from the list and confirm with “OK“

8. Modification of settings with System Manager

 Mark “PLC-Configuration“
 Choose Topic “Plc Settings (Target)“
 Disable settings (untick checkbox) for “Clear Invalid Retain Data“ and “Clear Invalid Persistent
Data“
 Confirm with “Apply“

Important: Changes will only be set if “Runtime“ is active!!!
