Report on Asian Machine Tools Exhibition (AMTEX) 2018, Pragati Maiden New
Delhi

BEC Team Consisting Mr. Ravi Singh & Mr. Sunny Agarwal had visited Asian
Machine Tools Exhibition 2018 Co-located Automation & Robotics EXPO &
Qmet (Metereology Expo) held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi on 6-9th July 2018.

AMTEX had represented ambitious and powerful spirit of India. One of the
largest Mechanical expos in the country, It had represented one of the biggest
networks of Machine tool manufacturers, Robotics innovators, Measurement &
CAD CAM technologies and Meteorological Analyst partners in the industry.
This biennial platform had aimed to rev up India’s Industrial & Process
Industry. AMTEX had one of the widest product range seen in such expos and
had assured presence of over 8,500 key buyers and over 1,00,000 visitors.
AMTEX had represented a growth opportunity unlike any other for the
Mechanical & Machine Tools industry.

Focus areas were Robotics & Automation Industries, CNC industries, Ancillary
Products, Sensor based Industry & Innovations, MSME, Pollution &
Environmental Services, and advanced Gadgets. Entire Expo was based on 4
themes, Innovations, Technologies, Asset Management, and Electronics
Portfolio. We had visited all halls comprising Machine Tools, Automation &
Robotics, QMet and InterTools Expos.

Objective of Expos was to provide support to new ideas, technologies and

bridge the gap between International Innovations and Domestic Industries.
This expo was specifically addressed to entrepreneurs, R&D organizations,
Manufacturing companies, global investors & industrialists, financial
institutions and capital ventures along with Students, research scholars,
academia, national and international technical institutes,.

CNC Hydraulic Press Brake

Description - Rigidly welded & stress relieved steel frame is designed for minimum
deflection under full land conditions.
Main Features - Various back guage, controller and crowning options are available.
Electrical and hydraulic safeties are as per industrial norms.
Benefits - The machines are designed to adopt both European and Poomecam style
tooling.

Miss Feed Detector

Description -RM-2703(BM) detects disconnection of ray material, jamming of raw
material and discharge of stamped parts in automatic production of press stamping
line and it contributes to avoid production of defective products in advance.

Dustbag DB425
Description-Dustbag Model DB425, dust filter system with polyester bag filters
5micron, with motor, dust collection bin, motorized / manual bag shaker, MS silencer
for fan outlet etc
Main Features - The equipment can capture large quantities of dust with high
efficiency, safe and efficient functioning. These systems contribute to a safer, healthier
work environment where toxic airborne pollutants are remove.
Benefits - Dust bag, dust collectors are fitted with Non-woven polyster fabric capable
of capturing dust particles as small as 10 microns.

3 .Dustkiller DK500
Description-Dustkiller Model DK500 with electrostatic filters, pre/post filters etc..
Main Features - This equipment can achieve a high level of dust control in any closed
area. Very fine floating particles captured before they settle down on sensitive
precision equipment. Maintenance and running costs are low, safety features are
incorporated . These systems are safer & provide healthier work environment

Outcome
AMTEX provided a fruitful knowledge sharing to the BEC Team to firm up the
existing production line along with the advanced production equipments for the
NEW Product development. This Expo has given opportunity to see various high
end equipment which are not available for the demonstration commonly like CNC
Laser Cutting Machine, Robotic Welding Machine, Spring Manufacturing Bots,
Inject Molding Machines and list is so on, for company’s growth these type of expo
surely will be very fruitful and crucial for the Research & Development.

Action Plan.
All the selected product line’s brochure and contacts has been collected and
enquiry would be sent for the detailed applicability of the products. And suitable
vendor will be register to our purchase achieve. Along with new suggestions for the
betterment of the plant health will be submitted through the concern departments.

Conclusion.
The AMTEX 2018 has provided a cast knowledge to the BEC Team, although the
subject was advanced Robotics and Automation along with Machine tools, but the
due to in person interaction the industry & manufacturing relations has been firm
up very much and the prospective of thinking beyond the standard definition has
been achieved, we hope this interaction and the visit will led us to generate
advanced cost effective and pollution free manufacturing ideas.
