Work is one thing that is fundamental to every human person as surely as


we are very costly or money. Because if we do not have the money or cost at all to
support themselves, we could die because of not being able to purchase various
necessities of life, such as food, beverages, clothing, and complementary needs
such as TV, shoes, bags, and much more. To get the money to make a living, we
have to work, whether it's working under the auspices of a company or to open a
business premise or also called entrepreneurs. Most people today are more
decided to apply for work in the company rather than creating jobs, because the
less have the will, does not want to take risks, or it could be due to not have any
special skills.

1. What the Meaning of Application Letters ???


application letter is a letter that is used by a person to apply for a job at an
organization / institution requiring employees or leaders in a particular field. In
general, when applying for work, one must write a letter of application that
includes a resume (curriculum vitae). In a job application letter, explained the
various abilities of job applicants who fit the position / job offer, or in accordance
with the company's needs. Job applicants simply put forward the key points that
are relevant to the requirements of the job.

The approach can be used in making a job application letter is the


approach Attention, interet, Desire and Action (AIDA). A more detailed
explanation about each of the AIDA approach can be explained as follows.

 AIDA Approach

a. Attention
The first principle in writing a job application letter is attention (attention).
This means that job applicants must be able to convince the organization /
institution job seekers (the reader) that the applicant had something useful
or to foster an interest for the reader. Explain the idea / notion that makes
the reader eager to listen to what you have written. The reader must
wonder about the benefits he can get. Job applicants may also argued
about how he got the job information and the reason why he was interested
in the position / these positions.

b. Interest
The second principle in writing a job application letter is the interest
(interest). This means that job applicants must be able to attract the
reader's attention by explaining the relevance of the messages conveyed.
In this case, applicants need to clarify and affirm that the required
qualifications are relevant to the capabilities and he sure was able to finish
the job properly.

c. Desire
The third principle in writing a job application letter is the desire (desire).
This means that job applicants must be able to cultivate the reader's desire
to know more about what is written in the letter. Job applicants can also
convince the reader of the supporting evidence relevant to the desired
position.

d. Action
The fourth principle in writing a job application letter is the action
(action). This means that job applicants must be able to provide advice to
the reader to take a specific action relating to expectations wishes in
writing the letter. one of the specific actions that can be performed by the
reader is given the opportunity to do a job interview (job interview).

 When writing an application letter you should include :

a. First Paragraph : why you are writing – mention the job you are
applying for and where are you found the listing.

b. Middle Paragraph : what you have to offer the employer – mention


why your skills and experience are a good fit for the job.

c. Last Paragraph : say thank you to the hiring manager for considering
you and note how you will follow up.

a. Preparation
Before you start :
 Read the advert closely so that you can tailor your application
to the requirements of the job .
 Research the organization : this will show prospective
employers that you really are interested in them .
b. Composing the letter or email
General Points
 Keep it brief . you don’t need to give a lot of detail . what you
are aiming for is a clear and concise explanation of your
suitability for the job .

 Begin your letter or email “ Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms “ if you know the


person’s name , or “ Dear Sir or Madam “ if you don’t know
their name.

 Avoid inappropriate language such as slang or technical jargon.

 Use brief , informative sentences and short paragraphs .

 Check your spelling , grammar , and punctiation carefully.


Some
employers routinely discard job application that contain such
mistakes.

 Signature : if you are sending a letter rather than an email ,


always remember to sign it and to your name underneath your
signature.

d. Certificate of Good Behavior (SKKB).

 Tips Job Application Letter

a. use language properly.


b. write a Short Sentence, Solid and Evident.
c. write it manually using a hand.
d. pay attention to the cleanliness of her application.
e. clearly the contents of the data itself and information about yourself.
f. If you have a certificate of supporters who can add a plus to yourself
do not hesitate to attach

 to be avoided when writing a Application letter :

a. Do not apply for a job outside of your ability.


b. Do not send a job application letter the copies.
c. Do not say that you accept any type of work.
d. Avoid excessive words.
e. Do not ask for mercy to potential employers.
f. Avoid for a salary dispute, unless asked during a job interview.
g. Do not comment directly about personal character.

 Speculative Job Applications

If you know that you want to work for a particular company or


organization but you have not seen an advert for a suitable vacancy , you
could submit a speculative application. This should consist of your
CV/resume , tailored to the type of job you are interested in , together with
a covering letter of application. Keep your letter short and positive : say
why you are particulary interested in working for the organization in
question and outline what skills , qualifications , and personal qualities
you have to offer .

If possible , address you application letter (or email) to the person


in the organization who is in charge of recruting new staff . you could find
this out by phoning the organization directly or consulting its website . if
you are applying by letter , rather than email , you could enclose a stamped
addressed envelope to increase your chances of a respons .

A Curriculum Vitae (CV) provides an overview of a person’s experience and


other qualifications. In some countries , a CV is typically the first item that a
potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to
screen applicants, often followed by an interview, when seeking employment.

Curriculum vitae (CV; also written curriculum vitae) or a résumé is a


document that gives an overview of a person's experience and other qualifications.
CV is the personification of myself in the picture. Good CV CV is where the
reader can well imagine the creator CV before met in person physically.

Benefits curiculum vitae is self-explaining information, personal
information, personal data, and so on. With CV, everyone who read and

CV type is more focused on skills rather than work experience. Its
