Air Defense Weapon System
The air defense missile weapon systems is composed of medium range interceptor (LY-80 series against aerial vehicle and anti-
ship missile) and short range air defender (FB series and FN series) with an envelope of 10-20,000m altitude and 0.5-70km slant
range, which constitutes a national or area defense system for area air defense, point air defense, fortification air defense and
marching air defense. Featuring quick response, strong anti-jamming capability, highly automated fire control, good compatibility
for joint combat mission, high maneuverability, easy operation, simple maintenance and battle proven performance, the air
defense missile systems are the best choice for modern air defense needs.

Weapon System

LY-80 air defense missile Weapon System is a type of medium range surface-to-air missile (SAM). The system mainly comprises search radar
vehicle (SV), guidance radar vehicle (GV), command vehicle (CV), missile firing Vehicle (FV) and missile-in-canister (MIC).
LY-80 SAM is used to intercept various aircrafts, cruise missiles (CM), air-to-ground missiles (AGM), UAVs and other air targets for providing
area air protection of critical assets and ground troops.
LY-80 SAM has been employed in PLA and many friendly countries in very large quantities as the primary medium range air defense weapon
system.

FB-10 Mobile Air Defense Missile Weapon System

FB-10 is a mobile short-range and low-altitude missile weapon system, which is mainly deployed at front combat area or rear concentrated
area to protect the covered army. It accomplishes air defense mission when accompanying by protected army to conduct various operations like
attack, defense, marching, concentrating, and deploying. By using IR imaging guidance system, FB-10 is a kind of “fire-and-forget” missile with
strong capability against multiple targets.

FB-6C mobile air defense missile weapon system is a type of short range air defense weapon integrating many functions like target detection, command
& control, fire control and missile launch. The system mainly comprises Command Vehicle (CV), Missile Firing Vehicle (FV) and new generation FN-
16 MANPAD missile. The mobility of the weapon system is achieved by adopting high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle. The system is used to
intercept various fixed wing aircraft, helicopter, cruise missile and UAV effectively, and it is mainly applied to provide air defense for maneuver troops
and vital assets.

FB-6A Mobile Air Defense Missile Weapon System

FB-6A mobile air defense missile weapon system is a type of short range air defense weapon integrating various functions such as target
detection, command & control, fire control and missile launch. The system mainly comprises Command Vehicle (CV), Firing Vehicle (FV) and FN-6
MANPAD missile. The mobility of the weapon system is achieved by adopting high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle or military truck as
mounting platform.
The system is used to intercept various fixed wing aircraft, helicopter, cruise missile and UAV effectively, and it is mainly applied to provide air
defense for maneuver troops and vital assets.
FB-6A air defense system has been employed in China Armed Forces and many friendly countries as the primary mobile short range air defense
weapon.

FN-16 Portable Air Defense Missile System


FN-16 MANPAD missile is a kind of new generation low altitude and short range air defense weapon upgraded from FN-6. The missile employs
IR and UV dual color homing guidance seeker, the combination of laser proximity fuse and impact fuse. It has all-direction attack, anti-infrared
decoy and “fire-and-forget” capabilities. It is used to intercept various types of attack helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, cruise missile and UAV.
FN-16 missile has been employed in PLA Army and many friendly countries as a leading short range air defense weapon.

FN-6 MANPAD missile is a kind of low altitude and short range air defense weapon. The missile employs infrared homing guidance seeker, it

The tactical ground-to-ground attack weapon system comprises state-of-the-art M20 missile, WS-43 loitering attack weapon system and multiple

M20 Ground-to-ground Missile System


M20 is a new generation of ground-to-ground tactical missile system which is used for battlefield fire support and deep strike. It can provide
immediate firepower support in combat as a kind of deterrent weapon to deal with regional wars.
As a single-stage solid missile, M20 flies with whole-course guidance in lower atmosphere at hypersonic speed. Various high-performance
conventional warheads can be adopted to attack different targets. The system can conduct precision strike and has excellent penetration
capability against air defense networks. Time for launch preparation and withdrawal is short, so that the system’s survivability has been greatly
enhanced.
The maximum flight Mach is 6 and the maximum altitude is less than 50,000m. It can conduct a high maneuver above the target area and attack
vertically with optimal damage.
M20 has been procured by many friendly countries as a leading ground-to-ground tactical missile system.

A Series Rocket Weapon Systems


A Series rocket weapon systems, which include A300, A200, A100 rocket weapon system, adopt systematized and generalized design. The
range of fire suppression and precision strike is 40-290 km.
A series can be used on the same Launching Vehicle, Transloading Vehicle and Command Vehicle. The Launching Vehicle can implement battle
mission under the condition of the no preset position and the single Launching Vehicle can independently work without other supporting
vehicles.
The canister integrates the functions of storage, transportation and launching, which reduces the system combat reaction time and enhances
the survivability and reliability of the system in the battlefield. During the storage, the periodic maintenance and check is done under the
condition of the not-taken-out rocket, which makes that simple, convenient and easy to operate.
A Series rocket weapon systems have the longest firing range (max. 290km) among Φ300 mm guided rocket weapon up to now.

A300 precision GMLRS is designed to strike and destroy concentrated groups of targets or point targets within a range of 90-290 km. The rocket
adopts two stage motors with a booster separation, maneuvering flight, SINS / GNSS based whole-course guidance. It can strike 8 different
targets within an area of 20 km×20 km in one salvo.
The maximum flight Mach is 4.5 and the maximum altitude is less than 48,000 m. It can conduct a high maneuver above the target area and
attack vertically with optimal damage.
A300 GMLRS has been procured by many friendly countries as a leading GMLRS.

A200 Precision Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System
A200 precision GMLRS is a tactical weapon system which is used to attack and suppress group targets and point targets in depth within a
range of 50-200 km. The rocket adopts separation technology, maneuvering flight, SINS / GNSS based whole-course guidance. It can strike 8
different targets within an area of 10 km×10 km in one salvo.
The maximum flight Mach is 4.5 and the maximum altitude is less than 48,000 m. It can conduct a high maneuver above the target area and
attack vertically with optimal damage.
A200 GMLRS has been procured by many friendly countries as a leading GMLRS and transfered its technology to some states.

The FT series precision guided bombs consist of 500kg (FT-1, FT-2 and FT-12), 250kg (FT-3/3A and FT-6/6A),100kg (FT-7), and less than 50kg(FT-9
and FT-10) aerial bombs with a maximum delivering range of 150km and an accuracy of up to 1.5 m by adopting the combined guidance
technology. The bombs are mainly used for attacking fixed or low-speed moving targets on the ground or water. With the features of long
delivering range, high accuracy, all-weather, day and night, fire-and-forget and high cost effectiveness, FT series PGB can be carried by
bombers, attackers, fighters and UAVs. Additionally, unguided bomb could be upgraded to precision guided bomb with high reliability and low

Inspection, Evaluation and Test Center


for Inertia Technology Product
The Project aims to build a complete inspection, evaluation and test center for inertia technology products, including precision laboratory,
reliability laboratory and electromagnetic compatibility laboratory,. The supporting laboratory is equipped with air conditioning system, power
support system, circulating cooling water system, air source system as well as informatization management system of test center. The test
center is able to perform performance precision test and reliability test of various inertia instruments and systems, and provide full technical
support for product development, improvement and assessment. Mature laboratory design plan for inertia precision test has been adopted by
the Project. In addition, all functional components have passed long-term operation examination, and served for development and application
of different inertia product, ensuring that a comprehensive, systematic and advanced inspection & evaluation ability for inertia product shall be
formed by the users.
