Background
The history of Jerusalem dates back to 4000 years ago when it was inhabited. Over the
course of history it was destroyed 2 times, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times and
conquered 44 times. Its prominent place in history cannot be denied. Today, it bears
importance to one third of humanity. Its historical and emotional relevance in lives of many
cannot be left unnoticed.

Throughout history Jerusalem has been a sacred place, an epicentre of the holy land,
seemingly forever out of grasp. Holy presence can be felt in this mythical and sacred place
the moment one steps foot on its grounds. Yet, establishing this connection is not simple as it
requires one to physically visit the holy land of Jerusalem. People have always sought to
establish a deep connection to the holy city and leave their imprint. That was unimaginable,
until now.

Modern technology has changed our lives in many ways. It has allowed us to achieve what
we thought was impossible. Today, this very same technology allows any of us to connect
with the holy city of Jerusalem; to cherish and maintain the special connection even when
physically unable to connect to it. Now, blockchain technology allows anyone to bond with
sacred city by obtaining ownership of a digital plot in Jerusalem and, by doing so, marking
their legacy in the history of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Chain uses blockchain technology to create and sell digital plots of its physical
plot of land in Jerusalem. The primary benefit of using blockchain technology to provide
digital ownership of physical land, is that it allows for a secure, immutable, indestructible and
transparent ownership registry. Once ownership is recorded on the blockchain, it can not be
revoked or denied in any shape or form, thereby making one’s imprint on the holy city of
Jerusalem indisputable. An additional benefit of blockchain is that it allows simple and
smooth transactions of digital property to a specified next-of-kin party – either for inheritance
purposes or as a gift. The flexibility and efficiency of blockchain technology thus allows one to
keep one’s digital property in the family and mark their own legacy.

3
Project Overview
Jerusalem Chain project aims to allow any individual to leave their legacy on the history of
the holy city of Jerusalem by claiming a piece of it. In order to make this possible Jerusalem
Chain have divided a 650m2 plot of physical land into smaller plots. The 650m2 plot of land is
located in the city of Jerusalem within walking distance from Dome of the Rock, Church of
Holy Sepulchre, the Church of All Nations and many other significant historical and spiritual
landmarks. The 650m2 plot of land is located in a premium location and rests peacefully right
on the hills of Mount of Olives.

This 650m2 plot of physical land is divided into 2,166,667 plots of 3cm2 by Jerusalem Chain,
each of the 2,166,667, 3cm2 plots has a digital counterpart. It is these digital counterparts,
that is, plots, that are offered for ownership on Jerusalem Chain website
(www.jerusalemchain.com) to any individual seeking to mark their legacy on the eternal city.
There are two kinds of plots that are offered for ownership, more precisely regular plots and
premium plots. The main difference between regular plots and premium plots is that the
premium plots are linked to memorable Jerusalem landmarks.

The main goal of Jerusalem Chain project is to create a digital replica of the holy city of
Jerusalem on Jerusalem Chain website that is based on the 650m2 plot of land. The digital
replica will be available in the form of a interactive map on Jerusalem Chain websites when
the project launches. The digital, interactive map of Jerusalem will contain many of those
important landmarks Jerusalem is known for, such as the Dome of the Rock, Church of Holy
Sepulchre, the Western Wall and many others. It is the premium plots that are going to be
linked to these magnificent landmarks allowing anyone to own a little digital piece of historical
importance. Additionally, the map will contain a replica of the beautiful and famous
neighbourhoods of the Old Jerusalem, that is, Christian Quarter, Jewish Quarter, Muslim
Quarter and Armenian Quarter. The regular plots will be linked to these special and charming
areas Old Jerusalem is known for.

Owning a digital piece of the city of Jerusalem is made possible using the advanced
blockchain technology. Jerusalem Chain is offering ownership of digital plots based on
physical land in Jerusalem using the Ethereum blockchain. This superior and transparent

4
blockchain technology allows for a decentralised, transparent and secure store of value and
data. This means that each digital plot ownership registry will be recorded on the Ethereum
blockchain and available publicly for anyone to verify. Every individual ownership registry
includes owner’s information, thereby guaranteeing immutable, irrevocable and transparent
ownership of a digital plot along with a lasting legacy.

When a Jerusalem Chain plot is purchased, one claims ownership of the digital plot based on
the physical plot of land in Jerusalem. More precisely, one Jerusalem Chain plot is always
equivalent to one plot of land. This means that each individual who claims a Jerusalem Chain
digital plot becomes the owner, in full, of the digital plot, while the company behind Jerusalem
Chain registers on the blockchain the owner of the respective digital counterpart. The digital
plot of Jerusalem land remains in possession of their owner, irrevocably and indefinitely, until
the owner decides to transfer it, thus maintaining a family legacy.

Each owner of a Jerusalem Chain plot will have the ability to access a graphic user interface,
a virtual and interactive map, that will be made available on the Jerusalem Chain website.
The virtual map will replicate the Jerusalem Chain land and it will contain Jerusalem’s most
well-known landmarks and neighbourhoods. On the map, owners will be able to locate and
explore their plot(s), landmarks and neighbourhoods, as well as all the other plots with their
ownership information (if the information is made available to the public by the plot owner).
Owners will be able to transfer their property to a next-of-kin, a friend, a partner or anyone
else important in their lives. They will be also able to dedicate their plot of land in a memory
of a loved one. Finally, in addition to the digitally-signed plot of land, owners will have an
exclusive option to order a printed Jerusalem Chain certificate of ownership from Jerusalem
Chain’s website. This will allow the Jerusalem Chain land owners to showcase their legacy
and maintain that special relationship even when physically distant.

The Jerusalem Chain project will consist of two phases, reservation sale, when the number of
available plots will be limited to 166,667 plots. In the reservation sale Jerusalem Chain plots
will be offered at a reduced price with special benefit of choosing the plot first. The second
phase is the main sale when the remaining plots 2,000,000 plots will be sold at a full price via
interactive interface on Jerusalem Chain website.

Project Breakdown

Jerusalem Chain Plots

Jerusalem Chain represents 650m2 physical plot of land resting in the
centre of world’s most spiritual sites in Jerusalem. The land has been
divided into a total of 2,166,667 plots of 3cm2, each with a digital
counterpart. These digital plots will be offered for ownership to anyone
seeking to mark their legacy on the holy city.

Blockchain Technology
Blockchain technology enables for a decentralised, transparent and
secure store of value and data. Jerusalem Chain is offering
ownership of digital plots through the Ethereum network. Ownership
registry recorded on the blockchain will include the owner’s
information (optional), thereby guaranteeing immutable ownership of
a digital plot.

Jerusalem Chain Project

Jerusalem Chain project aims to create a digital representation, a
map, of the 650m2 plot of land containing Jerusalem’s most well-
known landmarks and quarters. The map will be released for the
main sale phase of the project when individuals will have the ability
to explore digital Jerusalem with its sights and quarters and claim
their plot and favourite location. The map will be available on the
Jerusalem Chain website.

6
Your Legacy
Jerusalem Chain has made it possible for anyone to mark
their legacy, in eternity, by claiming a plot in Jerusalem.
Ownership of each of the 2,166,667 Jerusalem Chain digital
plots will be irrevocably and immutably recorded on the
blockchain, thus allowing anyone to secure their piece of
history and mark their legacy.

Reservation Sale
During the reservation sale, plots will be offered at an
attractive, reduced price to individuals interested in marking
their legacy on the history of Jerusalem. The number of plots
offered in this phase will be limited to 166,667 plots.
Participants in the reservation sale will have the benefit of
handpicking the prime locations on the Jerusalem Chain
interactive map once it is launched, on a first-come first-
served basis.

7
The Jerusalem Chain Land
The Jerusalem Chain land is located on the hills of central Jerusalem. It occupies the territory
of 650cm2. It is surrounded by a multitude of sacred sites, each less than quarter of a mile
away. It is located right outside Mount of Olives, within walking distance from the Dome of the
Rock, the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Church of All Nations, Via
Dolorosa and many other significant historical and spiritual landmarks.

The Jerusalem Chain land occupies a prestigious and highly attractive position in Jerusalem.

8
Jerusalem Chain Plots
Jerusalem Chain land occupies a surface of 650m2, this plot of land has been divided into
2,166,667, 3cm2 smaller plots. Each physical 3cm2 plot has its digital counterpart which is
offered for ownership to the public. When a Jerusalem Chain plot is purchased, an individual
claims ownership of the digital plot that has a counterpart in the respective physical plot of
land in Jerusalem. More precisely, one Jerusalem Chain digital plot is always equivalent to
one physical plot of land. This means that each individual plot owner becomes an owner, in
full, of the digital plot of Jerusalem Chain, while the company behind Jerusalem Chain
registers on the blockchain the owner of the relevant digital counterpart. The digital plot of
Jerusalem land remains in the possession of its owner irrevocably and indefinitely until the
owner decides to transfer it, thus maintaining his legacy and the legacy of his family.

Each purchased plot of Jerusalem Chain will be registered on the Ethereum network along
with each owner’s information (disclosure of the ownership information is subject to the
owner’s preference) and any next-of-kin individual or entity. Jerusalem Chain values privacy
and will not disclose any personal information to third parties.

Blockchain Technology
Blockchain technology allows for a decentralised and distributed store of value and data. It is
the foundation on which well-known cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum were
built. This technology enables storing facts of ownership in a distributed manner while
ensuring owners of the indestructibility of their certificate or proof of ownership.

The main benefit of using blockchain is that it allows for a secure, immutable, indestructible
and transparent ownership of registry. Once something is recorded on the blockchain, it
cannot be revoked or denied in any shape or form. Furthermore, on the blockchain everyone
can autonomously verify their name and ownership using the underlying ‘smart contracts’
mechanism of the Ethereum blockchain. The outlined process is transparent, autonomous,
decentralised and indestructible, rendering ownership independent of any single entity.

9
Jerusalem Chain project uses Ethereum smart contracts to store each plot ownership
information on the Ethereum blockchain. The smart contacts will undergo extensive security
audit to verify the immutability of the contracts. Additionally, EFT ERC 721 token will be
emitted to prove an owner of each plot, while ERC 20 token will be used for the reservation
sale to connect a plot owner to a plot and thus maintain future plot ownership.

Jerusalem Chain relies on the superior blockchain technology to make the ownership
process transparent to the individual owners and the public. Finally, each owner can be
certain that his plot ownership is immutable and his legacy in Jerusalem, thus secured.

Reservation Sale
During reservation sale, Jerusalem Chain will offer a variety of benefits to their initial
community joiners.

Firstly, the plots available in the reservation sale will be offered at an attractive, discounted
price. Jerusalem Chain will offer up to a 50% discount on each plot. Additionally, individuals
who claim their Jerusalem Chain plots in the reservation sale will have an exclusive
opportunity to first choose any digital plot, including the premium ones, once the interactive
Jerusalem Chain map is launched on our website. Finally, the number of plots offered in the
reservation sale will be limited to 166,667 plots only.

Acquiring Jerusalem Chain plot during the reservation sale phase secures ones position and
legacy in Jerusalem. Claiming Jerusalem Chain plot in the the reservation sale allows
individuals with a special opportunity of claiming a premium plot first at a special price and
claim a special free plot with every purchase. The length of the reservation sale is 30 days.
After the reservation sale phase of the project the main sale along with the interactive map
will launch when the remaining 2,000,000 plots will be sold, however without the benefits
offered in the reservation sale.

Purchasing options
In the reservation sale phase, Jerusalem Chain plots will be purchasable only with Ethereum
cryptocurrency since Jerusalem Chain relies on the Ethereum blockchain to sell and record
plot ownership information. It is, however, possible to purchase Ethereum cryptocurrency
using traditional fiat currency (USE, EUR and alike) using Portis, a digital wallet, that will be
implemented on the Jerusalem Chain website. Thus, any individual can easily purchase
Ehereum cryptocurrency with traditional fiat currencies practically directly on Jerusalem
Chain website and then use Ethereum purchased to claim their plot.

Since Jerusalem Chain relies on blockchain and cryptocurrency to sell and store ownership
information on Jerusalem Chain plots, a digital wallet is essential to make a purchase and
store ownership data an immutable fashion. Therefore, having a digital wallet to store your
cryptocurrencies and plot ownership is necessary. Jerusalem Chain supports the following
digital wallets: Metamask (compatible with Chrome and Firefox), Trust Wallet (works on
Android devices) and Portis (works on any desktop or mobile browser).

11
Pricing
The project is split into two phases, the reservation sale and the main sale. During the
reservation sale, 166,667 plots will be offered at a discounted price. The reservation sale will
start at 0.10 ETH per plot and go up every 5 days by 0.01 ETH, up to 0.15 ETH – in effect,
the reservation sale will last 30 days.

A few months later Jerusalem Chain will launch the main sale, where the remaining
2,000,000 plots will be sold at the retail price of 0.20 ETH. At the same time, Jerusalem
Chain will launch the interactive map where individuals will be able to explore the whole piece
of Jerusalem Chain land and choose where they wish to locate their plot and thus claim
either a regular plot or a premium plot, if any of the premium plots will be available after the
reservation sale phase.
