This study aims to study the factors related to the compliance of patients
with hypertension in undergoing treatment at Karang Dapo Health Center in
Muratara District.
The research method used in this study was an analytical survey with cross
sectional study design. The population in this study were all hypertensive patients
who sought treatment in Poli Karang Dapo Community Health Center Musi
Rawas Utara. The population is 570 people. Sampling techniques using accidental
sampling as many as 38 people. Collecting data in this study using interviews
using questionnaires to get data about gender, job status, length of time suffering
from hypertension and adherence to hypertensive patients undergoing treatment.
Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate with Chi-Square Test.
The results obtained: (1) there were 11 people (28.9%) with low
compliance, 13 people (34.2%) with moderate adherence and 14 people (36.8%)
with high adherence; (2) there were 14 people (36.8%) men and 24 people
(63.2%) women; (3) there are 17 people (44.7%) working and 21 people (55.3%)
do not work; (4) there were 15 people (39.5%) suffering from hypertension> 5
years and 23 people (60.5%) long suffered from hypertension ≤ 5 years; (5) there
is a significant relationship between sexes with adherence to hypertensive patients
undergoing treatment at Karang Dapo Community Health Center in Muratara
Regency, with a moderate relationship category; (6) there is a significant
relationship between employment status and compliance with hypertensive
patients undergoing treatment at Karang Dapo Health Center in Muratara District,
with a moderate relationship category; (7) there is a significant relationship
between the duration of hypertension and adherence to hypertensive patients
undergoing treatment at Karang Dapo Community Health Center, Muratara
District, with a moderate relationship category
