Documenting Endangered Languages (CFDA

Purpose: To develop and advance knowledge
about endangered human languages, by funding
computational infrastructure for endangered
language research, including fieldwork and other
activities for the digital recording, documenting,
and archiving of such languages.
Eligibility: Academic institutions (includes
universities, two- and four-year colleges, and
community colleges) on behalf of faculty;
nonprofit non-academic organizations;
independent museums, observatories, research
laboratories, professional societies, and similar
organizations; and individuals such as scientists,
engineers, or educators who are U.S. citizens or
have been living in the U.S for at least 3 years.

Historical Preservation Grants to
Underrepresented Communities (CFDA No.
15.904)
Purpose: To support the survey, inventory, and
designation of historic properties associated with
Federal Grant Notices for State & Local Governments & Community Agencies
SEPTEMBER 2018
communities underrepresented in the National
Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and National
Historic Landmarks (NHL); to submit a NRHP
or NHL nomination or add an underrepresented
community to an existing NRHP or NHL site.

American museums; support the growth and
