A
simple
A-‐line
skirt
that
may
be
knit
in
the
round
or
flat.
Features
a
garter
stitch
vertical
stripe
pattern
and
occasional
increases
within
stocking
stitch
panels.
Note:
this
skirt
is
knitted
in
the
round
so
at
the
end
you
only
have
to
weave
in
two
ends
and
sew
on
a
button!
It
would
be
a
good
beginners
project
for
learning
to
knit
in
the
round,
but
if
you
would
rather
knit
it
flat
just
cast
on
an
additional
2
stitches
(so
27)
and
work
these
stitches
as
an
extra
knit
stitch
on
each
end
of
your
right
side
rows
(and
as
purls
at
the
ends
of
your
wrong
side
rows).

Modifications:
To
make
a
longer
skirt
simply
continue
to
increase
in
the
same
manner
until
it
is
the
desired
length.
You
could
also
reduce
the
A-‐line
flare
of
the
skirt
by
working
more
rounds
in
pattern
between
the
increase
rounds,
or
once
you’ve
reached
a
width
you
like
just
keep
working
in
pattern
without
doing
any
further
increasing.
Finishing:
Sew
on
a
button
and
weave
in
yarn
ends.
Blocking
will
greatly
improve
the
look
of
your
finished
skirt!
