Say: Retell the story “Mangunguna Festival” through a dialogue.

1. Presentation/ Introduction
Say: What were the activities during the “Mangunguna Festival”.
I am going to present to you the number of contestants in the different contests
held during the festival.
How was the number of contestants presented?

2. Modeling/ teaching Refer to LM, Find out and learn

Say: This is a graph. Let us study the graph. To read it, do the following:
1. Read the title of the bar graph. The title tells you the type of information in the graph.
2. Read the labels on the side and bottom of the bar graph. These labels give you the information you
need to understand the graph.
3. Choose a bar and read the label below it. Then, go to the top of that bar and look to the left to see
which number matches the height of the bar.
