Imperial Sectorial Statutes (ISS) as written and radified by Emperor Roderic the Law Giver and the

council of lords, 576. M43

1. The worship of the chaos gods and the ruinous powers is strictly forbidden. Any man or woman
caught doing so is subject to imprisonment and execution.

2. The possession of chaos relics or weapons, knowing or not, is highly illegal. Any man or woman caught
in possession of such an item is subject to immediate imprisonment and trial but not immediate
execution. Prison time for this offense ranges from 5yrs(unknowing carrier) to 50yrs(selling of said
object) to execution if the person is found to be a follower of chaos.

3. All Imperial citizens are guaranteed the right of freedom of speech, which includes speaking,
advertisements, etc. However this law does not protect a citizen from being arrested or accosted from
things said by said citizen.

4. Although the official state religion of The Aonthaus Empire is paganism, all citizens under imperial rule
are entitled to freedom of religion, excluding the worship of Chaos.

5. Businesses that operate within The Aonthaus Empire are free to operate, advertise, and manage as
they see fit, however they must meet certain guidlines, called The Entrepreneurial Mandate or EM,
written by the council of lords and radified by the reigning emperor or empress every 10 years.

Current Entrepreneurial Mandate: much the same as America's, basically no company can
participate in slave labor, must make humane and safe working conditions, etc. Differances are, no
company can use, practice, or associate with Chaos, use of non- imperial citizens, ie Dominion citizens,
Eldar, Tau, etc. is very regulated and companies that employ these people must include a temporary
citizenship payed to the state for each such employee, companies can not distrubute illegal goods
or services and any caught doing so are subject to having all assets confiscated by the state,
monopolies are technically legal, however they are nearly impossible to achieve as state
regulations, labor requirements, and the vast variety of goods, materials and services available to
each company differ widely, insuring monopolies dont happen too often let alone for very
long. Also included is the minimum wage of 9.5 thrones.

6. The Murder of an Imperial Citizen is highly illegal. Any person found guilty of this crime, excluding
certain circumstances such as self defense (actual self defense not florida self defense) or honor duals,
will be sentenced to death or life in prison, the usual sentence however is in fact death.

7. The Rape of any Imperial Citizen is just as illegal as murder and usually carries a similar punishment,
although the sentences usually tend to lean to the life in prison side.

8. Any non-imperial citizen, Dominion, Eldar, Ork, Tau, etc. caught breaking any of these laws will be
subject to imprisonment. The home government of said citizen will be alerted to the crime commited
and may make an appeal to have the offender in question given back or send a lawyer to The Empire to
argue the person's case. If the government makes no appeal within 14 standard days, the offender is
subject to Imperial Law. If however no one sends the message to the offender's government, those
people that were supposed to send it, usually arbites, are considered to have failed in their duties, are
immediately relieved of said duty, and can face up to 30yrs in prison.

9. Any person found in possession or trying to buy or distribute Military Grade weapons without the
proper permit is subject to 15-30yrs in prison, depending on the severity of the situation. Any person
with the proper permit that tries to sell such a weapon to a person without a permit is considered to
have broken this law and subject to the same punishment.

10. Any person that is found in possession or trying to buy or distribute certain "ungentlemanly"
weapons is subject to 25-50yrs in prison even with the normal military grade permit. These weapons are
used in the military and only in the military and are found to be too dangerous for any citizen to hold
them even ex or current soldiers. Only specially trained troops, and only during certain missions and at
no other time, are allowed to use them. These weapons generally include Rad weaponry, Phosphex
weaponry, life eater virus weaponry, etc.

11. Any dual of honor that occurs with The Aonthaus Empire is considered to be a state sanctioned
event. In such an event both parties must agree prior to the engagement the ground rules and wager.
For example if a man kills another man in a dual to first blood, said man will be put on trial for murder
and if found that the event was purposeful then he will be sentenced accordingly. The wager must be
written in legal format so that a man who has won a dual where 5 thrones was bet cannot take the
other man's home.

12. Any person that is caught in possession or trying to buy or distribute illegal substances, weapons or
materials is subject to 5yrs-life in prison and anywhere in between depending on the substance.

Illegal items include: Sonic weaponry of any kind, Spook, Satrophine, Sweetmeats (the astartes
gland variety not the normal kind), Barkweed Juice, Cursewine, Barrage, Final Kiss, Glimmerdust,
Manic, Plague(as in nurgle) weaponry of any kind, Rose (the drug), Scab, Tzeentch Inferno Bolts,
Any warp related weapon, Obscura, Marshan Empire weaponry.

13. Theft of state assets such as weapons, starships, etc. is a capital offense and subject to 25yrs-
execution as punishment.

14.Treason of any kind is a capital offense and subject to the same punishment as theft of state assets.
Varying levels of course denote different levels of punishment.
