ARMORELEX9/ W-Beam Barrier (TL-4 &TL-3)
‘The NU-GUARD™ 31 barrier has been designed, tested and accepted fo NCHRP 350
criteria for longitudinal barirs. The unique dive’ steel posts are used to hold the
standard W-beam guarteall in the traditional manner to an overall height of 787mm.
Upon impact with either an 820, 2270 or 8000 kg vehicles NU-GUARD™ 31 safely
redirected them from impact at angle up to 25° and speeds up to TOOkph. Safe and
predictable trajectories were observed during the tests
