ORDER:

In the reference read above, revised /comprehensive guidelines for

taking up works during 2017-18, orders have been issued.

2. On the proposal of the Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, and in

consultation of the Finance Department Government after examination
hereby incorporating the Clause 5.5 in comprehensive guidelines issued
vide reference read above for Neeru-chettu/ Neeru-pragathi programme
2017-18 is as follows:

(i) To distribute budget among the District Collectors and works

shall be sanctioned duly following FRBM norms.
(ii) The sanctioning power of the District Collect ors be restricted to
Rs.10.00 lakhs. Works should not be split to bring them within
Rs.10.00 lakhs.
(iii) Only one work can be sanctioned in a tank. Sanctioning more than
one work in a tank amount s t o misappropriation of funds.

3. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Water Resources Department,

Vijayawada shall take necessary act ion accordingly.

4. This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance Department vide

their No. 47027/143/(FMU WRD I)/2017,dt .08.05.2017
