SCHOOL OBJECTIVES
The SCJPS aims to produce a graduate who:
1. demonstrates exemplary performance in the law enforcement
profession;
2. ensures accurate, complete, and prompt conduct of case
investigations;
3. promotes and protects human rights without discrimination and bias;
4. conducts criminological and forensic researches for community well –
being;
5. advocates crime prevention programs for a safer environment; and
6. exemplifies responsible leadership through socio-civic endeavors.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The MCDRRM is a two year course that endeavors to keep professionals abreast
of all types of risks that would occur in a community. The program focuses on
prevention, preparedness, response and recovery from disaster events. It aims to
train professionals to become capable in the implementation of practical
methods to reduce the effects of natural or man-made crisis situations.
The Bachelor of Science in Criminology was offered in 1967 by then Baguio Tech,
now the University of Baguio. It was in 1974 that the course gained Government
Recognition. The BS Criminology program was granted Center of Excellence by
the CHED in 2008.
Effective First Semester of SY 2013-2014, the School also offered the course
Bachelor of Forensic Science in conformity with the CHED Memorandum Order
No. 48 s. of 2012 which made University of Baguio a pioneer school in the
offering of the said course.
