Scientific Computing: R, Python, C++, Java, Scala,
High-Performance Parallel and Distributing Computing
Data Visualization: Spotfire, Tableau
Data Management Systems
Business Intelligence tools: such as KNIME, RapidMiner.

Apache Spark Developer

Must be able to demonstrate at least one Big Data application/project implemented
in Java.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and its components (Streaming, SQL, MLLib)
Strong understanding of row store distributed DBMS such as Cassandra.
Operating knowledge of AWS (especially EMR, EC2, S3 and the AWS CLI)
Strong Linux competency (use of command line tools, shell/Python scripting)
Working knowledge of Agile software development
