Your Hand

The Indian Government is planning

to make the country completely
cashless by the year 2020. This is to
prevent the circulation of fake
currency notes and to monitor money
transactions and the accumulation of
unaccounted wealth. We all know
that we can do cashless transactions
using credit cards or e-wallet (using mobile phones and the
internet). The Government is encouraging cashless transactions by
offering subsidies and providing affordable internet even in rural
areas.
In order to avoid the inconvenience of always carrying mobile
phones or credit cards, scientists are now experimenting with the
idea of implanting a microchip on
the human hand. These chips
contain basic information to carry
out cashless transactions and many
other functions automatically. This
method is already in use for
animals. For example, all
domesticated elephants in Kerala
are implanted with a microchip on their earlobe. These chips contain
a unique number, through which the details of the elephant can be
traced. Similarly, if any of the identification numbers (for e.g., Adhar
number) is stored in the chip attached to the human hand, cashless
transactions can be done easily because all the bank accounts are
linked to the owner’s
Adhar number.
Surprisingly, the Bible
contains a prophecy
about the end-times,
which says:
“The second beast forces all people – important and unimportant, rich and
poor, free and slaves – to be marked on their right hands or on their
foreheads, that no man might buy or sell unless he has the mark, which is
the beasts name or the number of it’s name. Here is wisdom. Let him that
has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number
of a man – his number is 666.” (The book of Revelation, Chapter 13, verses
16 – 18.)
The person mentioned here as the ‘beast’ is a highly influential world
leader who is called “Anti-Christ”. According to the Bible, he will be
a dictator ruling the world during the end-times. He will insist that
everyone should be given a
mark (code) on the right hand
or on the forehead in order to
do any kind of money
transaction. His rule will be
for 7 years. During the first
half of his rule, he will act like
a peace-maker, bringing many
wars and conflicts to an end.
After gaining the support and
power of many nations,
however, he will act as a tyrant during the second half, subjecting
humanity to torture like never before.
Does that mean that Adhar is evil?
Not at all. The Bible clearly says that the number of the beast will
contain the code 666. We know that many countries have issued
identification numbers to its citizens. As law-abiding citizens, we
should obey the legitimate rules and regulations instituted by the
Government.
The Bible also talks about many other signs of the end-times: an
increase in famines, earthquakes, calamities, plagues and wars.
People will reject God and increasingly become cruel, self-loving and
greedy, indulge in immorality, and will seek all sorts of pleasures.
However, Bible gives great hope to all the children of God, that they
will escape these calamities. All the children of God will be taken up
to heaven during the second coming of Jesus Christ, which will
happen just before the rule of the Anti-Christ begins.
How can I become a child of God?
The one and only true God had sent His only Son (Jesus Christ) to
this world about 2000 years ago in order to save mankind. Jesus
gave His life on a cross to take away the sins of all those who believe
in Him. He still lives and is able to cleanse us from our sins if we
plead to Him for forgiveness. Bible says:
“But as many as received Jesus, to them He gave the authority to become
children of God, even to them that believe on His name:” (The book of
John, Chapter 1, Verse 12).
When we confess our sins
to God and allow Jesus to
be the Master of our lives,
God considers us as His
children. Anyone who
accepts the Lordship of
Jesus and leads a
righteous life according
to the Bible, not only will
escape the torturous rule
of the Anti-Christ but is also granted everlasting life in Heaven.
Can Jesus renew my life?
Jesus is very much willing to forgive any repenting sinner. He has
the right to do so, since he has not committed any sin, and He is
God. Jesus paid the penalty of our sins by accepting its punishment
through the cross. Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you that labour.... I will give you rest.” (The book of
Matthew, Chapter 11, Verse 28).
He is willing to take away the burden in your heart - your worries,
sickness and the fear of death and to give you peace which the world
cannot offer. He is compassionate enough to come down to your
situation – wherever you are and
how much ever broken you are! For
that, you need not offer your wealth,
torment yourself or visit any holy
place. What God wants is your
wholehearted willingness to allow
God to work in your life. He can
renew your life and make you useful
to your family, society and to the
nation.
Does that mean the time is running out?
Dear Friend, our life is short and unpredictable. Tomorrow may not
be ours. Most of the Bible prophecies regarding end-times have been
fulfilled. Before it is too late, make use of the offer by the Creator of
the Universe to pardon you and save your life. It is impossible to
make use of this provision after your death or after the second
coming of Christ. No sinner can excuse himself from the ultimate
penalty of unconfessed sin – the eternal torment in Hell. But God’s
offer is available to you now, make use of it today itself.
