Network Development
• Critical that strategies are brought
forward into detailed plans
• Developers keen to understand how
constraints will be reduced
• Financially firm delivery dates for
major projects
– Incentivise owners and operators to
achieve target timelines

• Clear rules for curtailment particularly
for non firm windfarms
• Constraint reports suitable for banking
due diligence
• Transparency around connection offer
process
– Publish list of all accepted offers
• Significant concern around proposed
Supplementary Planning Guidelines
