PENDAHULUAN
4.1 Kesimpulan
Guided imagery sebagai salah satu terapi complementer yang efektif
digunakan oleh perawat sebagai tindakan mandiri pada pasien anak dengan
asma. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terapi guided imagery
efektif dalam menurunkan kadar serum IgE total dalam tubuh yang berperan
dalam hipersensitivitas sentral dari respon alergi asma yakni sesak nafas,
mengi, dan kecemasan berlebihan sehingga meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan
fungsi paru-paru melalui keseimbangan pada sistem saraf otonom. Oleh
karena itu terapi ini dapat dimanfaatkan pada penanganan pasien anak dengan
asma akut.
