Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and
forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the
beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He
descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended
into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from

Nicene Creed

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To
thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed
fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

Saint Benedict Prayer for Peace

St. Benedict, you were a man of peace. You walked the path of peace your whole
life long and led all who came to you into the ways of peace. Help us, St. Benedict,
to achieve peace: peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace in our sorely
troubled world. Through your powerful intercession with God help us to be
peace-makers. Aid us to work for peace, to take the first step in ending bitterness,
to be the first to hold out our hands in friendship and forgiveness. Beg God to let
peace permeate our lives so that they may be lived in grace and love. At the end
of our lives obtain for us the reward of the peacemakers, the eternal blessed
vision of God in heaven. Amen.

Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the
salvation of souls, reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians.

Oratio Imperata
Almighty Father, We raise our hearts to You in gratitude, for the wonders of
creation of which we are part, for Your providence in sustaining us in our needs,
and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe. We acknowledge our
sins against You and the rest of Your creation. We have not been good stewards
of nature. We have confused Your command to subdue the earth. The
environment is made to suffer our wrongdoing, and now we reap the harvest of
our abuse and indifference. Global warning is upon us. Typhoons, floods, volcanic
eruption, and other natural calamities occur in the increasing number and
intensity. We turn to you, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins. We
ask that we, our loved ones and our hard earned possessions be spared from the
threat of calamities, natural and man-made. We beseech You to inspire us all to
grow into responsible stewards of Your creation, and generous neighbors to those
in need. Amen.

Prayer to St. Agnes

St. Agnes, vessel of honor, flower of unfading fragrance, beloved of the choirs of
Angels,
you are an example to the worth of virtue and chastity. O you who wear a
Martyr’s palm and a virgin’s wreath, pray for us that, though unworthy of a
special crown, we may have our names written in the list of Saints. Amen.

Sekswal na Panliligalig
Sekswal na panliligalig? Ano ba ang ibig sabihin nito para sainyo, saakin
at sa halat ng taong nakaranas nito o hindi man. Ikaw ba naranasan mo na
ito, mapa babae man o lalaki ika’y babastusin nila. Kahit nasaan kaman
meron paring babastos sayo. Nakakatakot isipin na ang mamamayan natin
ay natatakot na, sa sarili nating bansa, sa mga taong gumagawa ng mga
kalokohan. Anong gagawin mo kung ikaw ay nakakita ng pangyayaring ito,
tutulungan moba sila o magwawalang malisya kana lang. Paano na lang
kung ikaw ang susunod na biktima? Anong gagawin mo?
May iba’t ibang uri ang sekswal na panliligalig; meron sa loob ng
opisina, loob ng iskwelahan, sa kalye. Sa labas man o sa loob maaari kang
mabiktima nito. Bakit ba may sekswal na panliligalig tayo, meron tayo nito
dahil sa mga walang kwentang tao na kung gumalaw ay sila na ang pinaka.
Tutol ako sa mga gumagawa nito, nakakagalit isipin dahil nga bakit kaya
mo itong gawin sa ibang tao at hindi moba naiisip ang iyong magulang.
Hindi moba naiisip kung ano ang maaring maging apekto nito sa isang tao,
ako na nag sasabi sayo takot, sobrang takot ang kanilang mararanasan.
Marami ng naipatupad na mga batas isa na dito ang Republic Act of 7877
batas para mapigil ang kabastusan at matulungan ang mga nasaktan.
Mayroon na nga tayong batas pero bakit mas rumarami parin ang mga
nabibiktima? Isa dahil hindi nila kayang tulungan ang isa’t isa, nakita na
nga nila pero wala lang ito sa kanila, iyan ang pangit sa atin dahil iniisip
natin na may tutulong rin sakanya. Pangalawa hindi kaya ng ibang tao
magsampa dahil ito’y natatakot o dahil baka siya’y pinagbantaan kaya dito
sila ay nagdadalawang isip kung magsasampa ba sila o hindi. Pangatlo
mga nag-iimbestiga minsan sila ang may kasalanan dahil hindi nila
ginagawa ang kanilang trabaho ng totoo, binabayaran ito kapag ang
sasampahan ay mayaman, kilang-kilala at may kapangyarihan.
Ang sekswal na panliligalig ay sapilitang paghingi, paghiling o pag-uutos
na may kinalaman sa sekswal, ito’y maari nilang tanggapin (biktima) na
nanggagaling sa kahit sino man na kayang gawin ito. Para saakin ang
sekswal na panliligalig ay isang kalokohan na dapat hindi natin ginagawa
pero may gumagawa parin nito. Wag mag patay malisya subalit lapitan o
harapin ang gumawa nito sa ibang tao pati narin ang nabiktima. Respeto,
kailangan mo yan, ako, tayo at lahat, dahil respeto ang pinaka-
importanteng salita at aksyon para sa lahat.
