To,

The Secretary,
Ministry of Housing and Works,
Government of Pakistan,
Islamabad.

Subject: - APPLICATION FOR ALLOTMENT OF QUARTER NO. 43/9

CATEGORY-V SECTOR 1-9/4, ISLAMABAD.

Dear Sir,
With due reverence, it is humbly submitted that I am serving as House
Boy (BS-5) at Prime Minister’s Office (Internal), Islamabad. My father, Ex-Head Cook
of the same department (retired on 01.07.2018) wrote an application dated 13.03.2018 on
the subject cited above to the then Minister of Housing & Works, Mr. Akram Khan
Durrani for allotment of house to my name which was forwarded to your esteemed office
for necessary action at your end. However, the application was declined due to Estate
Office’s accommodation/ residential colony at the pool of Prime Minister’s Office.
2. It is to bring in your kind notice that the Estate Office has recently allotted
House No. 90-Type-A in Sector G-6/1-3 outside the residential colony of PM’s Office to
my colleague at office Mr. Muhammad Naeem-ud-Dun, Driver (BPS-4) holding CNIC
No.61101-2870613-7 vide its letter No.90-A,G-6/1-3/EIII dated 11.05.2018 (copy of
which is enclosed herewith). It is to state regretfully that such an unfortunate act on the
part of Estate Office is prejudicial, discriminatory, and sheer violation of varies of Article
25 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973. The Estate Office under your
kind guardianship has been very unfair to treat us on inequitable grounds and through this
impugned order the basic rights of equality and justice have been disgraced.
3. It is further submitted that I am a married person having an extended
family and my parents are also elderly patients due to which it is quite impossible for me
to reside my family in an expensive city like Islamabad. I have a humble background and
low-paid employee, owing which, it is difficult for me to afford the expenses of a private
house. Due to this prejudicial unlawful act, my family may get suffered. When my
colleague at office may be allotted a house outside the residential colony of PM’s Office
than why may I be deprived of the same right. It is, therefore, requested that an early
action shall be taken against this injustice and the house mentioned in supra may also be
allotted to me under Rule 15(b) of Accommodation Allocation Rules, 2002 so that I can
live happily with my family in the said house.
4. I shall be indebted to you for this act of kindness.

Encl:
1. A copy of my father’s previous application for allotment of house.
2. A copy from Section Officer (EV) wherein I have been refused to allot a
house.
3. A copy of the allotment letter of government owned residential
accommodation to Mr. Naeem-ud-Dun, Driver (BS-4), PM’s Office (Internal).

Yours faithfully,

(Muhammad Awais)
House Boy,
PM’s Office (Internal),
Islamabad.
