B. ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
a. Advantages
The book is printed in attractive wraparound packaging to foster an
impression of interest to read it more seriously. Systematically this book is
written very neatly and clearly in its presentation. This book is accompanied by
examples for each sub-chapter and it is helpful to understand the material. Having
links between chapters and sub chapters, the subject presented is complete and
clear, because it uses words that are easy to understand. With an easy-to-
understand language in this book, readers can translate the material from this
book.
New General Mathematics for Senior Secondary School is a book capable
of explaining basic concepts of mathematics ranging from materials, examples of
problems related to human activity in real life until the discussion of sample
questions presented in detail.

b. Disadvantages
Besides having advantages this book also has a weakness, which in the
example matter is too short for explanation. This is certainly less helpful for high
school students.
This book will be more perfect if there are images that have color
variations. So that readers who have a visual learning way will be more interested
and easy to understand the material presented. This book can be used as a
reference in the learning process at the lecture level, because the basic science of
mathematics is presented in a simple and easy to understand language, which will
certainly help the readers in solving more complicated math problems.

C. CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTION

a. Conclusion
Based on the above discussion then we can draw the conclusion that
critical book is an activity to criticize the book to know the advantages and
weaknesses in the book, both in systematics of writing, the use of language,
content, material and display of books. This is done so that the book in the
critique can be revised in order to become a better book.
In this critical book report it can be concluded that this book has
advantages and disadvantages. This book is a book that is able to explain basic
concepts of mathematics ranging from material, examples of problems related
to human activity in real life until the discussion of examples of questions
presented in detail. However, this book will be more perfect if there are images
that have color variations. So that readers who have a visual learning way will
be more interested and easy to understand the material presented.

b. Suggestion
My advice as a reader, the author can provide tips on how to answer math
problems practically through examples of problems. And this book will be more
perfect if the author gives picture images in it. So that readers who have a visual
learning way will be more interested and easy to understand the material
presented
