MARITAL STATUS
-Marital status is whether you

divorced, widowed, separated, a
domestic partner or in a de
facto relationship. ‘Domestic
partner’ refers to all couples,
regardless of their sex and
sexual orientation.
RELIGION
-Religious discrimination is
treating individuals differently in
their employment because of
their religion, their religious
beliefs and practices, and/or
their request for
accommodation (a change in a
workplace rule or policy) of their
religious beliefs and practices.
AGE
-Age discrimination is adverse
work treatment of an employee
based on a class or category
that the employee belongs to—
employees over age 40—rather
than on the employee's
individual merit.
SOCIAL CLASS
- The ability or power to see or
make fine distinctions;
discernment.
Treatment or consideration
based on class or category,
such as race or gender, rather
than individual merit; partiality
or prejudice.
NATIONALITY
-National Origin Discrimination.
National origin discrimination
involves treating people
(applicants or employees)
unfavorably because they are
from a particular country or part
of the world, because of
ethnicity or accent, or because
they appear to be of a certain
ethnic background (even if they
are not).
