RC14001® - Responsible Care® and RCMS®

The International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) has established a framework for chemical manufacturing companies to adopt and
implement global Responsible Care® core principles. The need for a structured process to implement and manage Responsible Care®
management principles resulted in the Responsible Care Management System® (RCMS®) technical standard and RC14001® technical
standard.
RC14001® aims for continual improvement and demonstrated product stewardship. RC14001:2005 incorporates all of the requirements of
ISO 14001:2004 as well as the requirements of the Responsible Care® code. It is the standard for chemical manufacturing companies who
want a certified system based on an international standard that is accepted by all types of organizations worldwide.

Green House Gas Accounting Management System - ISO 14064

The ISO 14064 is a standard for Quantification, Reporting & Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emission. The ISO 14064 Implementation helps

NABL – Laboratory accreditation

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of

Food Safety Management System – ISO 22000 | BRC | HACCP…
A management system designed to enable organizations to control food safety hazards along the food chain in order to ensure that food is
safe at the time of consumption. There are numerous food safety standards.

Food Safety Hazard is a biological [pathogenic microorganisms], chemical [pesticides, chemicals etc.] or physical [metal, glass etc.] agent that
is reasonably likely to cause illness or injury in the absence of its control.

BRC Global Standard – Food (issue-6), Developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), a UK trade
organization that represents the interests of UK retailers. This standard is particularly suitable for
companies supplying food products to UK retailers, regardless of the product or country of origin. In most
cases certification to this standard is a pre-condition for supplying to UK retailers

BRC-IOP Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials (BRCIoP) (Issue-3, & ready Issue-4,
effective from 1st July’2011) provides safety and quality guidance primarily for the producers of packaging
materials, in order to ensure the safety and quality of food products

ISO 22000 A management system designed to enable organizations to control food safety hazards along
the food chain in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of consumption.ISO 22000 is an international
standard that defines the requirements of a food safety management system covering all organizations in
the food chain from “farm to fork”.

FS 22000 / FSSC 22000 It’s a requirements comprising of ISO 22000, PAS 220 & some additional
FS 22000 requirements. FS 22000 has been recently approved by GFSI (Global food safety initiative) as one of the
FSCC 22000
management system.

HACCP The food business operators shall have identified any step in their activities which is critical to
ensure food safety and shall have developed, implemented, maintained and reviewed adequate safety
procedures, applying the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points [HACCP], including the
general principles of food hygiene, and where appropriate the relevant codes of practice and the food safety
legislation

AIB International Consolidated Standards for Inspection of Food Contact Packaging Facilities are statements
that represent key requirements that a facility must meet in order to keep the packaging materials in a
facility wholesome and safe. The Standards also reflect what an inspector would expect to see in a facility
that maintains a food-safe processing environment

FAMI-QS [Feed Additive and Premixture Quality System] code of practice bases itself on a Quality
Management System. The certificate guarantees the implementation of the requirements for feed hygiene
in animal nutrition as laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 183/2005

Analysis of the Organization, its Departments / Functions and its various Personnel (to be done by organization on its own, as per our
recommendations). This would enable both, us as well your organization in understanding the current status of the organization and
further help us in formulating the Growth Plan of your Organization (with Policy and Objectives).

3. Understanding the responsibilities of the Personnel in the Organization.

4. Process Approach for reviewing all aspects of Management System (QMS, EMS, OHSAH, FSMS, ISMS, EnMS) for every functions and
every processes.

5. Eliminating any redundancy in the existing system.

6. Based on the review of the existing system, providing recommendations to the Top Management for areas of improvement /
attention, needing specific resources.

7. Preparation of the Management System Documentation as per the requirements of ISO/ Regulatory standards after taking due
consideration of the SWOT Analysis results. The Documentation shall include the following :

 Management System Manual, (Level 1 Document)

 Management System Procedures (Level 2 Document)
 Job specific Work Instructions / Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (Level 3 Document) (optional - to be prepared by
organization) for Personnel / Activities affecting Quality.
 Formats (Level 4 Document) for maintenance of Records.

8. Conducting Awareness Training for the employees of the company.

9. Conducting Department / Function specific System Awareness Training based on the documented system.
10. Conducting the Management Representative’s Training for Implementation, Maintenance and Monitoring of the Quality Management
System of the company.
