The document discusses various automobile safety systems such as ABS, collision warning systems, sturdy body cells, electronic stability control, blind spot detectors, survival cells, air bags, and seat belts. It provides details on how each system works, including descriptions of ABS components like speed sensors and valves, how collision warning systems use sensors and braking support, how sturdy body cells and survival cells are constructed, and how electronic stability control integrates ABS and traction control. The document emphasizes that safety is the top priority for automobile manufacturers and special departments are dedicated to improving safety.

• Automobile manufacturer give first preference to
safety.
• Special departments and resources are used for
improving safety. • Introduction • Types of Safety System ABS ( Anti-lock braking system) Collision Warning System Sturdy Body Cell Electronic Stability Control Blind Spot Detector Survival Cell Air bags Seat Belt • It is an automobile safety system that allows the wheels of the vehicle to maintain contact with the road surface. • Main Components: Speed Sensors. Valves. Pump. Controller. • A surround (radar) sensor in the vehicle recognize the danger of a collision. • Based on the distance to the obstacle ahead and the speed. • Provides maximized braking support by boosting the brake pressure • It is a rigid cell made up of aluminum, steel, hot formed ultra steel & ultra high strength steel. • Obtained by heating them under certain pressure hot formed ultra steel is used. • ESC integrates Anti Lock Braking (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS) • A function that prevents skidding. • If the vehicle moves in a different direction– under steering or over steering – ESC detects the situation and reacts accordingly • A blind spot in a vehicle is an area around the vehicle that cannot be directly observed while at the controls. • Good driver visibility is essential for safe road traffic. • It is currently implemented in all new upcoming bikes. • It is used in racing cars (Formula 1) • It is a rigid cell made up of carbon layers and aluminum plates. • Obtained by heating them under certain pressure. • Air bags: They are the bags ,which open in a fraction of seconds when collision occurs. • Seat Belt: This is a basic safety tool used in cars to protect passenger from getting injured when sudden braking is applied. • As per National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in 2014 there were 4 lakhs accidents resulting in death of 1 lakhs people approx. • Every 10th bed in the hospital is occupied by an accident victim. • Cost of this accidents go upto 550 Crores. • Rather than the safety system a lot depends on us on how we drive our vehicles. • Use seat belts in cars. • Avoid over speeding and follow traffic rules • Use helmets while ridding bikes.
