Active voice and passive voice

En voz pasiva se usa el verbo to be como auxiliar y el verbo principal en pasado participio. To be
auxiliary (am, is, are), the main verb in past participle.

En la voz active se dice quien lleva acabo la acción. En voz pasiva lo que importa es quién (el
objeto) recibe la acción.

They do the work at the workshop (Act. Voice).

The work is done at the workshop (by them) (Passive voice)

She bought an expensive dress AV

An expensive dress was bought by her. PV

We read an intereting book during the class AV

An interesting book was read during the class (by us) PV

They built a high building in this street.

A high building was built in this street.

They robbed all the money of the bank. AV

All the money was robbed of the bank. PV

We did all the work at the seminary AV

All the work was done at the seminary by us. PV

They took the books to their house.

The books were taken to their house (by them).
